s2 of koba cai is worse than s1. if season 1 is 9/10 then s2 is 7/10

The votes here have it 8.8 for both 1 and 2 and season 2 having 4 out of 6 of the top episodes in the series and the season 2 finale being the best of the series.

S1E5 is the best of the series. I'd rate season 1 10/10 and Season 2 about 8.5/10.

season 1 had something to say. you could tell there was a vision behind it. it felt like season 2 was riding the coattails of season 1

Anyone seen The Great Heist - El Robo Del Siglo. Seems like a Money Heist 2.0 type thing

Definitely will look in to that. Love this kind of stuff and really enjoyed Money Heist.

Currently powering through S2 of What We Do in the Shadows. Great stuff. Really hoping for a Taika Waititi/Jemaine Clement/Rhys Darby appearance.

Finally got around to New Girl, we're in S3. What season does it start to go downhill?

It didn't really, well, no where close to other series. Really solid show all round, even with the big hits/misses (looking at you S6!).

So, unless you're disliking it now, you've got quite a way to go still.

(Not much of a IMDB fan, but rings true to my thoughts at the time) https://www.ratingraph.com/tv-shows/

Also gives no. of voted, which is, I assume, Next Girl got cancelled - the numbers declined consistently.

i've always loved The Wire's graph...great graphical demonstration of elite storytelling.

of course you can look up Game of Thrones' graph to see the opposite.

I'm currently in the middle of a New Girl rewatch.

So elite.

Watched the first five episodes of Ted Lasso and it's much better than it has any right to be. I had seen the short in past so when I saw that the show was coming, I immediately thought that it was going to go heavy in the "ignorant American in UK" direction with oh-so classic scenarios such as driving on the wrong side of the road and generally being ignorant and clueless about the local culture. Or that the show would stretch the whole "trying to apply the US football training methods to soccer" shtick really thin. Instead it's pretty wholesome and chummy, but in a good way and there's a surprising amount of emotional depth involved (especially the latest episode with the family). I don't see any major plot-twists coming and the show practically writes itself (pretty classic underdog story), but for a feel-good show like this, it doesn't really matter in my opinion. Will definitely continue watching this and happy that it's also been renewed for second season.

I'm a fan so far. I just wish they released all of the episodes at once.

Surprised you guys don't like Fauda. I think it's great, on par with Homeland-anything that is not S1.

Also more interesting than Homeland in some ways since it takes place somewhere where terrorist attacks are much more prevalent.

i tried fauda, and i thought it was great for like 10 minutes or so. then it got pretty lame. but my low opinion of it is probably an endorsement

it's also hard to watch if you are opposed to israel occupation and annexation of palestine

Very much agree! I really really like this show. I had no intention of watching it until I saw it was a Bill Lawrence joint and that’s always a must-see for me.

Anyone else watching All Or Nothing: Tottenham Spurs? I still know nothing about soccer, but, man, this is fascinating. the first episode just draws you in. Manager Jose Mourinho is so damn likable.

Yeh watching this too, really good as the other all or nothing seasons!

EDIT: Mourinho is generally really unliked in europe though and his reputation is like opposite of likable :P

Mournho is a genius, one of the most successful managers of all time, and has also burned bridges and caused havok almost everywhere he has been. He is absolute box office. Amazon literally couldn't have scripted a better turn of events than him getting the job midseason.

Can't wait till Monday...I need more.
