Im watching prison break again (with gf now) It was such a cool and tense show back when i was 15 following the first season on tv. Now its just silly fun, the characters and prison setting are really enjoyable though.

Mabye i can get trough the absurd bad season 4 now and watch s5 for the first time. Probably not.

Always my #1 example for a show that should have ended after one season because the story had been told.

Doing a bunch more seasons was like a movie about divers finding Leo DiCaprio on the ground of the Atlantic, resurrecting him and then putting him on another fancy boat back to Southampton.

Robert Durst "The Jinx" from HBO is back in court today for murder charge. He is 75 and looks really weak and old.

Haha nice comparison. I remember i also really enjoyed the first half of season 2, with agent mahone(?) and all of them going for the money.

But yeah, season 3 is bad, season 4 is even worse than dexter's last seasons. I think it's the worst season of any show i ever liked i saw. Didnt scofield die in a movie after that? In season 5 he's back in a prison right?
Mabye i'll keep watching to see how absurd it gets.

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime.

Wow. If you like Seinfeld and Mad Men and would like to watch a cross between them, this is it.

This dialogue is word for word precision crafted, the production value is top notch, the acting is great (mostly because of the script).

The first couple episodes are for background and setting up the premise of the show. After that it really picks up the pace.

Guess I'm weird, I thought s3 was far worse than s4.

Season two was pretty solid TV when looked at in isolation.

A solid 7 out of 10. The problem was that season 1 was a 9.5, so it seems **** in comparison.

Best crime documentary I've ever watched. Watch it if you haven't yet guys. It's short too.

Caught "A Very English Scandal" on Amazon Prime. Short miniseries, 3 one-hour episodes. Thought it was fantastic. Hugh Grant and Ben Whishlaw were both phenomenal in their roles. Loved the direction and music also, it perfectly captured the sense of time and place. Series was hilarious for much of the time but had some unexpected pathos also.

Only watched this because I saw it was nominated for some Golden Globes. Prior to that I hadn't even heard of it. Glad I watched it, one of the best things I've seen on TV lately. Highly recommend.

I know the show has its own thread but don't wanna risk to get spoiled as I intend to start watching once all eps are released: how do you guys feel about the first couple episodes of True Detective season 3 ?

Is it looking like season 1 awesomeness or season 2 disaster thus far ?

I read the thread, haven't watched it myself but general consensus seems to be positive although derivative of s1.

Ya finished it a few days back. Wow. Loved it. What happens to Sweat IRL after is worth reading up on.

Anyone do all of Titans yet? Heard it was good (and as gritty as Punisher if not more so)

Same with Informer. I've finished E1, not bad! https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7161312/?ref_=nv_sr_1

Currently rewatching first season of The Good Place.

Spoiler:
Completely different show knowing that Michael is actually spending his whole time torturing them. Probably even funnier.
