Is season 2 over?

If I watch tonight is the special independent so I wont be spoiling S2 by watching?

Never mind, I thought you were talking about Scream Queens

Season 2 is over. I really don't know if any spoilers for season 2 are in the special.

I'd grind The Grinder, a show literally incapable of not grinding.

The Grinder is fantastic. I rarely pickup new sitcoms (weakest genre on TV IMO) but The Grinder blew me away.

I didn't look it up, but is that the one with the old lady? If so, that's another great one.

one of the top 5 of worst cancelation , up there with party down, arrested developpment(before netflix took over), better of ted and happy ending.

The Bridge (original scandi version obviously) is absolutely top notch. Saga Noren one of my favourite all time TV characters. Smart show and doesn't feel compelled to hold the viewers hand. A little bit gotcha-y towards the end of the first season but loved it.

re: The Grinder

The people that make these decisions have got to find a way to let shows incubate a bit, I've never even heard of this show and I watch a ridiculous amount of TV

Is that Bron/Broen (original title)?

Where can it be watched?

So you want TV networks to throw away money just because we like a show? This was a totally standard cancellation based on ratings. We loved it, I think FOX loved it, but there was nothing they could do.

Is this a strange way of insulting the American version? The American version was excellent, too, and its cancellation was a far worse move than The Grinder.

That's not how it works. The show started out low, and stayed low. FOX ordered an initial 13, and then they gave it a full season run despite it having terrible ratings out of the gate. They gave it every chance to succeed, but it couldn't. We were all very happy it got a full season, because it really didn't deserve one. Audience almost always erodes from season 1 to season 2. If you start at a low number, it's just gonna go lower except in uncommon situations. I think Lethal Weapon could provide a comedy lead in for FOX next year, but that's next year. All their comedies on weekdays (all 2 of them) are dying in the ratings.

I thought the Grinder took a nose dive when the shrink got more involved, I never even saw the Finale because I lost interest.

The Bridge was really good.

very much how I felt. They were just killing it at first, every week, then that Maya Rudolph **** ruined it. Never got that momentum back.

My least favorite Twilight Zone ep so far has got to be A Game of Pool, even though there are some great quotes in it.

Really liked this ep. One of my faves for sure. I like philosophical episodes about death since I can't stop thinking about it.
