You dont win a war by being dominant in the field but not being able to take cities. People will just harvest their crops or burn them and let you starve in the field.

Robert talked about a possible Dothraki invasion. Eventually you have to meet them in the field because you can't just let a 30,000 army loose in the fields killing all your people.

Fwiw I think the big x factor is one you all overlooked. Winter is here.

At best there is one crop left before winter fully arrives and if the invading army cannot seize stores in highgarden or dorne they would struggle to do anything but die.

Valyrian Steel only kills Others instantly. A resurrected Dragon would be a Wight so no Valyrian Steel instant death. Now what capabilities it would have as a Wight I'm not sure.

There have been virtually none. I don't think Azor Ahai has been mentioned by name. Mel has called Stannis things like the "champion of the Lord of Light" or something like that, but they have not hit the prophecy angle hard.

so any predictions for the next ep?

- I'm guessing jon's stabbing is in the finale, which will get everyone right when they though the worst had passed.

- I guess bronn will lose his head

- danny will fly on draccarys

- sansa will get some more beating

- arya will kill the merchant and will probably get blind in the last scene of the ep

- no idea what we'll get in the stannis plot line. if brienne kills him I'll be shocked.

- cersei's walk of shame.

I'm guessing a lot of spots end up roughly where adwd ends up.

Season ends with:
- Dany flying off on Drogon
-Jon Snow stabbed and wargs
- Stannis stuck in snow
- Cersei walk of shame /Robert Strong reveal
- Arya goes blind

- danny will fly on draccarys The dragons name is Drogon, Draccarys I think is what her command is for the dragons to incinerate someone. But yeah this is for sure the ending for her, cant imagine they put Dothraki part in.

- sansa will get some more beating No way, Sansa aand Brienne have had nothing but failure basically since the shows inception, no way they finish this season without having her saved from winterfell IMO.
