I was thinking about it and I realized I've paid a lot of money over the years to the electric company. I'm gonna head on down to their offices and inform them I now own their business; find me a sweet office to move into. What can they do when the checks have always cleared?

Put me in the camp of S3 paling in comparison, at least thus far, especially when you stop to consider he took off more time between S2 and S3 than S2 and S1. Of course maybe this is simply more of a long haul season. I'll stick around to find out, but I so far I miss the feeling that each episode was superb along the way.

First few pages of the season 2 thread had plenty of people saying it was terrible, boring, didn't live up to the previous season, etc. Season 3 may very well end up being hot garbage, but lol at all this hand wringing after 2 episodes.

LOL? Seriously? We're disappointed and saying as much. That gets an LOL? No one is throwing tomatoes or implying that all is lost, although for all we know maybe this will be like True Detectives S2, which is one I remember where the OOTV message at this point was not to panic.

We simply expected better, that's all.

Note also that the S3 thread has been open for exactly two weeks as of today, yet has barely over 50 posts, whereas the S2 thread had upwards of 90 by the two week mark, so say what you will but apparently it's just not resonating with viewers like S2 or S1.

Just because its not being "OMG THIS IS THE WIRE QUALITY WRITING" doesnt mean they have to make the plot overly and unnecessary lazy.

With that said, I dont really mind it that much. I still really enjoy this season alot

The loan thing is ... whatever. I've seen worse and I've seen better execution. There was clearly a reason that they needed to get a loan through undesirable methods, and they are such dolts that they never thought of the repercussions of stealing from the mob.

Having a google search redirect to some deep web BS was corny. There should have been more search results, he clicks in their homepage, yada yada yada he gets hacked.

It almost feels like people are really stretching g to DJ d reasons to criticize something. Only thing worse than ppl hating on the loan plot was Sepinwall hating on 'Fargo being Fargo'... what???

Really enjoying the show. It definitely has some flaws but everything else still makes for an entertaining show.

Though I gotta agree the whole plot with the loan thing is pretty terrible. Really takes me out of the show and I'm just constantly questioning why haven't they just called the police.

It makes sense now since they've shown they will kill people and are extremely dangerous, so maybe they're afraid. I wish they'd done that in the beginning, It'd still be meh since this is 2010 and that wouldn't fly in todays world really, but at least it'd be something.

For me its because season 1 and 2 was so awesome in every way, so might have had way to high expectations. But the acting and everything else (except the plot a bit) is really top notch! The plot is also way better than most shows, but I probably had way to high expectations.

Overall this is still a super good season and I cant wait until the next episode.

Just catching the start of the 2nd airing...first couple minutes I had to check twice to make sure I was on the right channel, and that this was actually Fargo. WTF indeed.
