Ended up giving this show a chance and glad that I did. I didn't like the first season very much, despite appreciating instantly the potential of the universe built early on, but the second season has been superb (still need to watch the finale). Show definitely seems to just get stronger as it goes on. Can't wait to watch s3.

Not sure I've ever seen a show where there is more disparity in acting talent, though. Avasarala (sp?), Draper, Amos, Naomi, and Anderson Dawes (my man Jared Harris, possibly the most underrated actor on earth) are all excellent while Holden, Alex, Prax, and almost every secondary actor (like the earther cop partner of Miller who just kind of disappears from the picture w/o much explanation in s1) leave some to be desired. On a related note, show needs more Dawes. Plz don't spoil but am hoping to see way more of him in s3.

...and s3 isn't available on Prime yet. That's disappointing.

GRRM's proteges now acting like GRRM. Book 8 delayed until late March.

FYI - afaik the two posts above yours are not about the TV series, they're about the release of the 8th book, unless of course Amazon is coordinating the two.

As far as when Amazon will have s4, I know they wrapped up shooting last month, but all Amazon has said about release date is "sometime in 2019."

Amazon is telling me that Tiamat's Wrath drops on March 26. The early reviews on goodreads gives the impression that it is amongst the best books of the series.

Has anyone here read the Altered Carbon books? The show on netflix was excellent except for the awful dialogue.
