in the book dresden deserved it so much more. i don't know why they changed it for tv.

in the book dresden was acting like a complete ahole, entitled, smug "ha ha you got me, and i'm a monster, but you need me, and i'm special so i get a pass"

tv didn't give us that

You didn't need the book version...it wouldn't have worked translated to the screen...it's too obvious. Dresden's attitude said it all...he was a monster.

My only 2 admittedly really minor beefs:

1. Why have Miller ditch the hat when he leaves Ceres?
2. More a complaint about US TV rules, but they really cut the balls off Avasarala's foul language since it's Tier One cable and the TV audience doesn't get treated to the nearly Al Swearengen level of curses that are the book version of her.

Without any spoilers, bookreaders don't know. Last episode was the end of book 1, but the second book takes place quite a bit later, the characters aren't where they are at the beginning of that book yet. We might see some original "inter-book" plotline, or they might title card "6 months later" it.

I haven't seen anything other than minor cosmetic changes. Plot lines appear to be consistent unless I'm forgetting something.

There is some swearing, but it seems to me it's not as much a part of her personality as in the books. Also, in the books she was a harsh, demanding boss and it doesn't seem, to me, that we are getting that in the show.

I don't hate the way she's being played on the show at all. As I said, my complaint was more about tier 1 cable. The character is fine within the constraints.

The second season has been really, really good so far, encouraging sign that they got the third because that's the best book.

Yeah for an adaptation spanning two books they've done a wonderful job of keeping the momentum from the end of 1 to the beginning of 2, but this season has just been really nicely paced with each episode having a coherent driving plot in addition to the larger storyline. The actors are also growing into the characters nicely, too, the guy who plays Amos has been ****ing killing it.

having huge issues with belter chick holden is boning. I dont find her agenda fitting her actions. It´s a dangerous game shes playing, and she if anyone is well aware of it.

They have been hammering it aswell so when you dont like a certain decisionmaking and plot around it it becomes meh.
