Episode One (Chimpanzees) disappointed me. Attenborough, so it was still good but not one of his best. Perhaps ten minutes too long.

Unfortunately there was only around 100 chimps left in that area of Africa & with the gold mines & **** all around them, there natural habitat has mostly been destroyed which made the Documentary lacking in activity... Anyone else think those chimps did not look the healthiest?

Emperor Penguins episode was excellent. Almost nothing I hadn't seen before but beautifully shot, edited and narrated.

a few weeks ago I set it to record on BBC America and it somehow switched over to IFC.
