That was the most awkward lead up into a spin off ever if that is the route they are going.
He just wants to be a normal kid, but he just killed his dad after watching him murder a serial killer who had dozens of women turned into literal dolls, which he saw first hand.
Like we are supposed to just forget hes 18(?) and out in the middle of nowhere with literally nothing but emotional baggage because it did that little voiceover where Dexter said he needed to die so Bryson could live?
The whole last episode was so awful from the moment Angel showed his face until the credits started to roll.

finally watched it, and yeah, it obv wasn't perfect, but it was actually way better than i expected. better than some of the dexter seasons probably
would be an awkward spinoff if harrison is the new bhb or whatever
thought he said he's not like that, doesn't want to kill, that his darkness was anger at his dad, etc
also wonder if mch is done with the show or if he'll return as an annoying ghost / flashbacks
