Of course the writing is awful but MCH has gotten significantly worse too. He seems so bored of the show and his acting has changed much in a bad way since season 3 and 4. Not that anyone can blame him with this kind of writing staff to back him up.

I don't understand how people could hate the ****ingpassword scene. I loved it, and know people that have used that as a password after being frustrated it would not let them use password as their password. And it is totally in line with Deb's character.

This season opened in pretty much the same vein it left off last year. Multiple diverging story lines, as if the writers still aren't sure how to continue the season, random laughable scenes that are completely out of place, and generally horrible writing and predictability.

New serial killer in town, random new character, Deb going bananas, Quinn and babysitter's relationship - too many things happening that don't really fit together. This was one of the problems in previous seasons that people here really hated, and they are continuing in the same fashion. All hope that this season would redeem the previous few is out the window.

Hack into Deb's CC site? Sure, let me just sit down, think for about 5 seconds, and bingo, unfettered access to sensitive financial information.

The spontaneous killing of the jewelry thief was believable. What isn't believable is that Dexter would let someone call the cops 2 minutes after a murder with evidence everywhere and no time to clean up.

I do think that they will reveal later how they covered up Laguerta's murder. It's something everyone is interested in, and even the ****** writers won't omit that. Or maybe they are ******ed enough to ignore it...

To those whining about deb's password. The average working man is just that dumb when it comes to computer. Theres a reason why script kiddies have so much success with no knowledge. Most of living humans have no understanding of consequences outside of murder/thievery because of seeing people constantly punished on the news throughout their lives. People dont think someone can steal off all their money or their wife can leave them after a year with half what they owe. Regular humans are tarded. I think you may have misinterpreted the ending to American Psycho.

The only hope I have about this season is the potential for this thread to reach the levels of hilarity that we got from The Walking Dead season 2 thread.

The difference is that people actually had hope/expectations that TWD season 2 would be good. Here hope has already been replaced by a grim determination to see it through to the end.

I didn't hold out any hope, I agree with you that after S01e02 it wasn't worth watching. However, I think we were in the minority.

OK, maybe I gave them more credit than they deserve, but I thought they explained LaGuerta. Make it look like she shot the guy that killed Dexters mom and he shot her at the same time. Possibly even involving removing Debs bullet from her and shooting her in the exact same place with his gun.

Backed up by Dex telling Angel that if Laguerta had just let it go she wouldn't have died. Because she was tracking that bad guy to try to get at Dexter.

I have liked every season and am sad to see the show end. However, I am sure I will not be disappointed on how they do end this series.
