Can't wait to watch another thrilling season of Dexter maybe (but not) finding a friend who can accept him for who he is. I'll watch it but I'm not excited.

They need to go all out crazy and bring back Doakes somehow. Maybe a long lost twin brother wanting revenge. Please no kids.

ya i feel like there's gonna be a lot of flashbacks in order to bring back popular dead characters

not sure if i want them to really try with this thing, or more lean into having fun with what it is
feel like the show actually had more of a sense of humour in the beginning, and then started taking itself more seriously as it got worse

also ya that'd be hilarious if it just turned into an office style sitcom about his life now as a sad lumberjack

This is in early planning stages right? Long way off?

I'll give it a shot. Dexter S1-4 was really some of my favorite television, but I have never even rewatched an episode because of the bad taste S5-8 left in my mouth. If this new season can make me enjoy S1-4 again, I'll be happy.

I'm pretty excited. Was the biggest fanboy all the way up until the finale ripped my heart out and farted all over it. Was a few years before I rewatched any of it. I was routinely watching a season or more every month during the later years. A couple years ago i watched 1-7 straight, won't touch season 8.
