Yeah, it's just ridiculous. I was laughing when they were talking about her, "it's been six months...we should get rid of her stuff and move on".

It definitely seemed absurd that after LaGuerta was so suspicious of Dexter, she dies, and Sgt. Matthews doesn't even question that Dexter might be involved. Same thing happened with Doakes.

What's up with these girls on Dexter getting butt naked for sex scenes but always covering their boobs?

How did the fact that LaGuerta was shot with Deb's gun never come up? I figured the cover up would be much more complicated because of this. I actually liked this ep way better than the **** last season. Deb is super annoying though.

so funny how ******ed the writing is... in the hallway of the police station Quinn tells Dexter to tell Deb to check her messages on her cellphone when multiple times throughout the episode it says her mailbox is full after the voicemail message, LOL terrible

In the past seasons it was also so annoying when Dexter was really sloppy and we knew he was never going to get caught but this season there's a good chance he ends up dead so all the being sloppy and killing random guys on a whim isn't annoying as you know it's going to catch up with at some point, finally.

Not sure what way the show is going to use the psychiatrist but I think it's going to suck, regardless.

.... that's the point. He thinks Dexter will see her in person and be able to tell her to check her messages so she deletes some and he'll be able to get through.

Writing is terrible but this is not an example of it being bad.

Like others, I'm extremely disappointed they just skipped over the whole "there's tons of evidence to suggest Dexter killed La Guerta" aspect.

I do have one theory for how the show could wind down and I'd feel like it would at least make a tiny bit of sense:

Once Harry realized Dexter's psychotic tendencies as a child, he enlisted the help of Matthews for dealing with it, and with the help of newly introduced psychologist lady, the 3 of them concocted the monster Dexter was made into. So fast forward to La Guerta's death. She confided her facts in Matthews, who strangely enough is now back working in the police force, and has conveniently not brought to light any of those details. The reason he hasn't is because he has known the truth this whole time, and he sees Dexter might be spiraling out of control so he feels it's his duty to be closer to Dexter to monitor him better (why he is out of retirement and back in the force).... in which likewise, he has called in psychiatrist lady to further come in to try to "save" Dexter and get him back to being the bad guy killer they wanted him to be, that or else determine he's beyond saving and do in their monster once and for all.

I don't know if I'd feel satisfied if the show ended in this style (be it they somehow turn him into the careful controlled killer he once was, or they decide he's evil and kill him/arrest him), but I'd at least feel like this ending makes sense for why Dexter (and Debra given that her bullets are inside La Guerta) got entirely skipped over as being a potential suspect.

Best part of the episode was the random hot blonde who got topless at the beginning. Fantastic tits.

The show should end like American Psycho where we find out it was all in Dexter's head and he was just creating an elaborate fantasy life for himself.

The scene with LaGuerta's bench was WOAT.

Also the stream I watched was the clean version too so i missed all the babysitter goodness.

Liked the ending though I'm pretty sure we're in for another terrible season.
