Holy **** that episode was terrible.

This is horrible. Dexter straight up kills people now with no prep, no gloves and gets blood all over him - then lets someone call the cops.

idk, lack of laguerta definitely made the quality of the show a lot better

deb as a trainwreck definitely fits jennifer carpenter's acting skillset

didn't think it was a bad episode and interested to see where it goes from here

Haters can gtfo. The lead-in to the show was elite and really reminded me of what a good show this has been. First episode was pretty good and the rest of the season looks good.

That's kinda the point. Idk if you've noticed or not, but Dex's character has kinda evolved. He's not the precise killer he used to be. Now he is reckless, and snaps at the smallest things

Thought this was all pretty terrible, albeit standard for recent seasons. No interest in the Melonball killer, the road rage scene was comically bad, Deb was as annoying as ever, and not a fan of introducing a new character who magically already knows all about Dexter.

i am a fan of the no build on the doctor who knows dexter is a serial killer tbh... im glad they didn't waste time on having her trying to figure it all out

i dont know how anybody can say this was bad, i think it was pretty good & im glad alot of others thought the same

How the **** could old lady not only know he's a serial killer, but know about his father's code as well. Unless she knew his father or something...

Decent premiere compared to last few years I guess

dex's dad prob took him to her for therapy when he was younger and they came up with the code? that would explain why she would have those childhood drawings made by dexter.

but wtf, no one suspicious of dexter after laugerta drops dead while investigating him for bay harbour murders.

Matthews probably got the whole truth about Dexter (at the time) from Harry and told her what he knows.

Yeah this was basically unforgivable terribleness. Everything that could have been interesting about how the last season ended was instantly brushed aside.
