Is anyone else totally tilted by Julia Styles acting skills?

edit: Just read previous posts. Seems to be the general concensus

stiles' character is so ****ing vanilla and boring.

stiles: i want my way.
mch: no
stiles: FORGET IT!!!!
mch: ok, have it ur way *tail between legs*

this episode was much better. i'm hoping lolguerta gets fired and anhel kills himself. if the boss man doesn't fire that ho, i'm gonna be very pissed off they teased us with that.

gee, i wonder if deb is going to get ****ed over by quinn and find out once again she picked the wrong guy! (preferable AFTER they move in together).

<3 johnny lee miller in his role.

also..i'm getting sick of the show angle shooting us, even though most of the **** is predictable:

lolguerta appearing like shes putting her blouse back on (or off?) while anhel watches through the window.

anhel picking up that bitch at the bar "soo u wanna do this?" obv they wanted us to think she was a prostitute, we all remember that storyline.

he took his fingers and he...(what stuck em in your ass? stuck em in your pussy? WHAT WHAT??)...stuck them in my mouth..aww stiles that ain't hot! **** U!

if this happens with any sense of permanency, i almost certainly will not be watching the show any more. im normally easy about this stuff and can forgive a bad actor/character, but she actually drives me nuts.

jfc Miami Metro P.D. is ridiculously incompetent. That whole story line is lame, but I am actually liking the Lumen stuff.

all of my shows tonight seemed to have transitional story lines that just bridge the gap between previous action and the next action.

A pretty good episode, I think I liked it better compared to last week's.

Such a stupid shortcut with the car crash, oh-so-convenient. But I guess these are the kind of things we just have to accept.

Should we assume Dex was going to lose to the security guy? He's been pretty damn effective a fighter, but the time he has a stupid sidekick waiting in the car, he both is taken by surprise and is unable to counter effectively -- just to be saved by the sidekick he didn't want to have involved.

Chuckled a bit at Lumen dismissing Masuka as "clearly a freak".

Stiles is still terrible and if they make her and Dex a couple it'll definitely kill the show.

Liked that Deb didn't repeat her mistake but shot that latino guy this time.

This was a strong episode a lot of good narrative stuff though the truck moving the dead bodies getting blindsided is some pretty huge Deus Ex Machina.

Most of the Santa Muerte stuff was part of a big suspense setpiece that Dexter always does well, so it didn't feel stupid.

Stiles is really bad.
I am disappointed with Eli Stone as the inspirational speaker, I reserve the right to change my opinion, but those types of characters are really great showcases for actors in guest spots and he didn't impress me in this episode.

Send the informant over...send the cop over...oh, this is going to end well...

Also, Harrison mailed it in this episode...his worst performance to date!! (still better than half the others)

She seems like a religious freak who's going to steal Harrison or something..

After a slow start I like where the season is going.

Is there a chance that Dexter will decide to leave Harrison with the babysitter on a permanent basis? For his own good kinda thing.

I feel completely the opposite. I love that kind of skinny.

Like zero. "Harrison doesnt need saint whoever, he has daddy Dexter".

I was thinking the nanny takes Harrison, but there is a chance Lumen kills her and Dexter has to then end Lumen but i doubt that one. Seems a bit too season 2 and not particularly interesting.

She seems too significant to just be hanging around for the season and then is the nanny still next season and she has no backstory or anything.

I think the nanny will get mixed up with the bad cop somehow.

I watched the club shootout twice, and I still don't get it. Why did Fuentes running his hands up the cop's dress instantly tip him off that she was a cop? How did the brother immediately know to shoot the informant? Why didn't he shoot the cop, too?

Nanny is going to find out Dexter is sketchy and is going to kidnap Harrison "for his own good." Book it.

That kind? You love skeletons with no curves? GG.

Jesus, that whole club scene was lolbad. Also, huge LOL at the car crash. So much fail this ep imo. I am really not liking this season at all.

she had a gun on her thigh. he yelled it in spanish. i did think it was hilarious that the other guy instantly shot the informant though.

agree with do not want about deb. last season when she showed her gunshot wound to masuka she looked good. this was just weird. her and quinn make one weird ass skinny couple imo.

Car crash advancing plot is lazy writing imo

Pretty sure he felt her gun inside her thigh, I thought I heard pistole. Not sure if the informant said something or the brother just assumed. The scene didn't seem out of reach to me.

The car crash with the bodies seemed too convenient; especially when they guy they killed last week called someone to warn them that Lumin was still alive. Dexter couldn't just check the call log and work from there?

Edit: what they said ^^^

Deb was wearing very unflattering underwear

SoA crossover for sure. Harrison and Able will be in adjoining cribs by the end of the season

i thought about this, but her running away with him is more likely imo. no character is who they seem. she'll probably find Dexter's blood in the air conditioner, or find out he's with a woman all the time and run off with Harrison. would be dumb, but i can see it

who was the actor who played Cole? I know the guy, and i know what hes from but i just cant put my finger on it, and its not on the imdb castlist
