i know someone else did that eariler, but I'm expanding.
there are two options for chase
1. put the tractor in a spot where dexter will hit it 100% of the time
2. put the tractor in a spot where he might hit it
scenario 1:
dexter hits it, chase captures him after waiting in the bushes (also he doesn't know when dexter is arriving, if ever, so he might be outside for 3 days)
Scenario 2:
dexter hits the T sometimes, but sometimes he just drives right by, then chase has to run back to the camp so dexter doesn't just take lumen and get in the car and drive away.
so viewing these scenarios, if it's possible for dexter to get by if he's playing attention the plan is lol
if dexter is 100% going to hit it, then why didn't Detective Deborah Morgan hit the same tractor 30 minutes later?
also, if she somehow swerves the tractor, didn't she at least see it and the red car that's flipped on it's side. what ****ing ******ed cop doesn't call for back up at that point.
there are so many spots that the writers just ignore so dexter gets away it makes it unbearable to watch. so ridiculous
i look at it this way - even tho there were moments during '24' that made me upset, overall it was 8 seasons of wayyyyy above average tv. aamof, i will put '24's complete package up against anything. 8 years of 24 eps nearly an hour long? gtfo how hard that is to do. obv there will be downtimes but there weren't nearly as many as you'd think.
dexter could be similar - some downtimes (which feel worse when they are the present) but ultimately, the entire 6-7 season package will still be very very solid compared to its peers.
hip - you beat me to it above - i wasn't sure how moving a tractor in a remote camp you own under a former name was exactly a "plan". oh well.
also, some of you don't seem to realize that the john lithgows and julia stiles and peter wellers are guest stars that are only meant for 1 season. weller wasn't just some fill in - him being in the show was a big deal.
what is the consensus as to what quinn means telling dex "thanks." ?? he knows dex fudged the blood work - but does he know the whole truth about dex? if so maybe S6 pitts Dex vs Deb w/ Quinn awkwardly inbetween.
