given he dumps the bodies in deep ocean his main interest at the scenes of his murders is not having evidence of a murder at all (i.e. blood)

I'm pretty sure the blood on Quinn's shoes was not there to implicate him and let him fall for the death. Don't forget Quinn has evidence on Dexter, and now Liddy is dead he will be more careful and maybe get some "insurance" on his proof.

Probablity imo:

Dexter and Quinn have a big show off and find a way to co exist>>>>>Dexter and Quinn have a big show off and Quinn is killed>>>>>Something different unexpected>>>>|Lame plot twist line is here imo, Quinn is killed by Jordan Chase or Fuentes brother>>>>Quinn is blamed for Liddys death

he said "i don't have time for you now" which obviously means he had to check on Lumen first, and would come back later. Guess how that turned out.

quinn and dexter has a confrontation which ends with dexter agreeing to put the good word in for quinn with his sister.

It is fun to guess along with the writers. They are telegraphing Quinn with the blood and the angry voice messages, etc., so it might be a red herring.

However they go with that, it does seem at minimum that Quinn will at some point mention Dexter and a bunch of tension will be created about how Dexter is implicated. Since you expect Dexter to ultimately/miraculously dodge the bullet, I don't see how it could end well for Quinn-- even if he is only briefly a suspect.

This is hundred percent speculation. I'm only put it in spoiler tags in the 1/1000 chance it is correct:
Spoiler:
Lumen's boyfriend returns from Europe just in time to get 1) killed and 2) fingered as Lumen's accomplice. Lumen then gets to walk from Deb.

The basic rule of "conservation of characters" suggests he play into the resolution of this.

i understand that...he wears gloves and fully covering cloths but he has facial hair and a ton of hair on his head. it's amazing that we are to assume he is able to keep all the hair on his head and beard and if he were to lose any to keep track of it all. i understand that he uses plastic, etc. during his murder scenes but he's always in a house normally without it being drapped all over. i guess the assumption is he cleans up after himself very well or that he never sheds hair. if he was really cautious...he'd be wearing a hair net.

Code is long out the window
Dexter did this kind of stuff before - remember in season 2 when he intentionally screwed up a case so he could kill a guy, and was called out on it by Lundy?

The first rule of the code is don't get caught. Unless Dexter ties him up and takes care of him the rest of his life, killing him is the only option.

But as I've told many people, many times... the code was designed for a killer robot. Dexter is a human being. Mistakes and compromises will happen.

Dont know if it has been mentioned before, but where does Debra lives now she broke up with Quin?

Best ep of the season imo. Can't wait for finale.

Zomg, huge plothole! I demand they tell us that she went and found another place to live

I doubt it was you but over in the WD thread people were complaining that basic things had to be spelt out and viewers werent being trusted to make basic leaps of assumption.

walking dead...

Oh, been thinking this for a few episodes now but forgot to mention it: They should just kill off Harrison.

Only thing he does is make Dexter look unlikable and make the viewer ask questions about how long he could actually dump her on the Nanny for without her quitting again.

The nanny should kidnap him or something. Probably take Dexter a week or two to report him missing.

ya I guess they would have to address that, lol. Then he should stay with his grandparents then. I mean, with Deb not at home now, they have to make up stupid stories like the nanny taking him to Orlando for a week or so. Also she has to be cool with staying there longer on a whim because Dexter has to kill someone.

Haven't read the thread, because I wait until the season is over so I can watch them all over a couple days.

Anyway, is this season pretty awesome? Think the finale is in a week or 2 so definitely looking forward to watching.

won't call it awesome, 1st half of season pretty meh, second half has been much better and the finale has the potential to be really good

I like this idea. Big cliffhanger. She kidnaps him at the end of the season and goes back to Ireland. I think it could work......

Anyone else think it's weird that the babysitter tells Dexter how they're with Cody and Astor, but she's really alone with Harrison at a cafe? Something's up with her.

SO I'm really the only one who thought the last ep. was terrible? Am I really "bad at watching tv" lol?

I'm so pumped for the finale. I can't foresee how it surpasses the cliffhanger of S4 though.
