Guess it doesn't matter. It's just weird that the show considers so many details and takes them seriously, then just overlooks a lot of glaring stuff out of convenience. It seemed to me that in earlier seasons, there was consistency to which details were justified and which ones involved suspension of disbelief.
and beyond that, wtf did cole go smashing through the side door anyway? did he see Lu in go into the door next to his? just seemed to me like a good way to get him into the kill room and a good way to make the plot exciting.
but in real life, dexter would now be arrested for the murder of Cole and it would become known that he was the BHB.
security cameras shows Cole enter his room right after Lumen enters her room. Dexter enters his room shortly after. Door gets smashed to ****. I'm assuming Dexter doesn't have an extra door in his kill room materials.
so Cole is missing, door between the rooms is broken down, they see Dexter and Lumen on the video as the last people to go into their room, minutes after Cole goes into his room, their adjoining door is broken, and then Dexter is dumping bodies garbage bags into the ocean.
Unless Robocop just has pictures of them putting luggage on the boat and doesn't actually have photos of him dropping bags into the ocean.
regardless, irl, Dexter would be so banged right now
