Might as well leave the season 4 thread behind...

Sunday night. Bring it.

I'm counting down the days! So excited for this season, just hope it doesn't disappoint.

hope to join u all soon, finished S1, gonna try to wiz through real quick.

It's like I'm going to be a prisoner to my TV on Sundays for the next three months:

Mad Men (for at least another month or so)
Dexter
Boardwalk Empire
NFL football...

what's going to suffer? I may sacrifice BE to Monday or Tuesday DVR viewing, because there's no way I'm waiting on Dexter.

Don't rush imo. You're better off taking a month to catch up than doing it in three days and having to wait a week between S5 episodes. Dexter is a great show to marathon, but it's brutal waiting seven days for a new episode.

Dexter is ******g awesome. I'm not sure whether I wait until the season is finished and watch it all in one marathon session (or 2) or watch it weekly...
09-22-2010 , 09:06 PM
i can't wait!

Although a recency bias from the great last ep total has people overrating last season, the show is still awesome and Michael C. Hall just owns the role so hard.

Looking forward to this.

BTW: I dloaded "Early Cuts" which are just animated shorts on early kills Dexter made and give origins on his kill ritual and stuff. Not bad.

Can't wait.

I'm so happy that Sunday is no longer associated with bricking a bunch of tournaments and losing a lot of money. The TV line-up this fall is spectacular.

Sooo ready for Sunday!

thursday is even more loaded with TV for those who watch the shows i do (community/30 rock/the office/always sunny/the league/jersey shore/NCAA football)... sunday is definitely more of a quality block though. the shows listed above + don't forget eastbound&down starts sunday as well.

I, personally felt last season sucked but this show can still make a resurgence...I'd probably watch for MC Hall anyway -- so I'm excited!

gtfo! im guessin u wouldnt date megan fox either because she has toe thumbs?
season 4 was the best season of dexter since season 1( maybe even better).
09-24-2010 , 03:04 AM
Probably said this before but season 4 was in my top 5 seasons of any show ever. Quality wasn't as good as 1 (mostly from the Angle/LaGuardia (sp?) story) but I enjoyed it more.
09-24-2010 , 07:37 AM
Just started watching Dexter for the first time last week and I just finished all 4 seasons tonight.

4>1>2>>>>3 with 3 still being very good imo

exactly this! season 4 totally owned because i think that villian did an A plus job throught the season, im blanking on his name though. and obv the end of season 4 was a mind ****, tough to argue it is not goat tv

Luckily my cable provider doesn't carry AMC so I need to DL Mad Men, which makes the decision easier for me. If I wasn't restricted I would probably bench Boardwalk Empire/Mad Men because they require much more interpretive lifting than Mad Men and watching them back to back would be tough.

goddamnit why hasnt this leaked
09-24-2010 , 06:33 PM
Yeah it's honestly a Dexter tradition to watch leaked episodes and I'm feeling left out.
09-24-2010 , 08:03 PM
called up DISH, they said I could have shotime/hbo free for three months if I'd sign up for paperless billing/auto-pay for those three months.

Now I'm ready for season 5!
