The capital is destroyed. The president and his cabinet dead. Congress, laid waste, and no more supreme court. Yet, the American people are up in arms about a Muslim kid getting beaten in Michigan? The President must focus on the tragedy of this kid's beating because POTUS Bauer has the best interest of the country at heart. God forbid the kid dies during the President's speech. People will riot!

And of course the racist war mongering generals want to immediately peg this on Muslims when it's obviously an inside job by some racist conservative extremists devised by the evil republican congresswoman.

Maybe the show creators just wish that Iran had a closer working relationship with the US.

If new Chief of Staff ends up being a cliche two-face doing the general's bidding I'll be very disappointed.

The thing I like most so far is that they haven't taken the standard route when given the chance. For example, in every one of these shows the kid ends up being an annoying rebellious typed, I liked what they did with him. Also expected them to fire Aaron and make ol girl CoS, was glad Kirkman realized the need for a different perspective in this world.

It seems really hard for jack bauer to shake off his bauer persona, for some reason. Whenever i see Bauer on screen trying to portray himself as someone else, like Kirkman, POTUS he still ends up as Bauer, but without the testostherone and deadly weaponry skills. Still got the wits though.
