I got the itch again....more 80s

One of the more vulgar real life comedians is somehow cast as a widowed dad of three girls who figures let's surround them some positive female role models......err........ wait.....let's instead have two other single guys live with me instead, with the twins who play the youngest daughter somehow building a real life empire that made their net worth higher than the GDP of a third world country

The adventures of a group of embodiments of high school stereotypes, with the main character breaking the fourth wall and becoming one of the first TV teens to own a cell phone, which is so large it's unclear how he totes it to and from school without doing himself great bodily harm

A TV show that was a ratings smash for most of its run but of which now essentially no one can recite the plot of a single episode, yet can recall in intricate detail the clothes the main characters wore, the celebs who guest starred, and the music that was featured

A moustache and chest hair with a body attached drives a Ferrari while living rent free on a luxury estate for reasons nearly entirely glossed over

Show where the two female title characters were detectives and if you knew who was who odds are you were not straight (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Spoiler:
Miami Vice

Yours wasn't a bad guess by any means, but I had already done that one earlier.

Has it already been six days since my last one of these? Let's tee up a few more...

It's just like Friends........except with most of the characters on the spectrum

Showtime creates what is poised to be one of the great single season shows of all time about a the return of a POW hero who's secretly plotting against our country, except the ratings and accolades are so great that, in typical Showtime fashion, they drag on the show for about 193 too many seasons

Fox creates what is poised to be one of the great single season shows about a man who commits a crime with the intent to be jailed so as to help his wrongly imprisoned brother escape, except the ratings are too high so they drag on the show, which is kind of a big problem given the premise....and title

Watch a team of doctors led by an acerbic, misogynistic, pill-popping genius manage to diagnose patients with diseases you'd never previously knew existed but by the end of the episode were frantically googling to make sure you didn't have

Let's center a show around what really happens to inmates, guards and others involved in the prison system. Spolier alert - it's a suckfest. And despite the show being superb, it somehow is never given the full credit it deserves despite it essentially paving the way for prestige premium cable dramas (steps off soapbox......).

A spinoff, of a spinoff, which for the most part was a top quality, well acted show about life for an inner city African-American family that was unfortunately overshadowed by the flash in the pan fame of one of it's characters who was basically a catch phrase with legs

This is probably among the best first seasons of any show of all time IMO.

What better way to spend my first non-holiday day off work since I started in October 2022 than tossing out a few more of these....

Criminally under appreciated comedy obtains cult-like status after its cancellation, leading, several years later, to a streaming service getting the cast back together for a fourth season........except for the whole actually getting back together part

Follow the lives and loves of four twenty-something gal pals in New York City in a show that was often quite funny and touching but is mainly remembered for being a vehicle for the show's creator and star to promote body positivity by writing in more nude scenes for herself than feet close-ups in a Tarantino flick

Seemingly boilerplate medical drama explodes in popularity when a lead becomes the object of desire of the world's females, then before you know it everyone leaves and you decide to tune in one day several years later and are like who even are these people?

TV adaptation, of a movie adaptation, of a book which is filled with great acting and storytelling about a state's obsession with high school football and......hold on did that kid just kill a guy?

Let's take the cringe-humor of Curb Your Enthusiasm and set it in the world of politics, and have an ex-Seinfeld actor star to boot.....but somehow it works, while at the same time ensuring that thanks to this and the first show I covered above Tony Hale will be typecast for the rest of his working days as an actor

Stellar cop drama sadly now best known for one of its leads thinking what happened to Suzanne Somers and Shelley Long can't possibly happen to him because he's a guy, but it does, and he proceeds to essentially not work again in entertainment for the better part of a decade

Woman opens detective agency, names it after a guy who doesn't exist, but lo and behold into her life walks an English gentleman who assumes that identity while the actor playing the role treats the nearly 100 episodes of the show as one long audition to be the next James Bond

Slow morning at work, so here are a few more:

70s action show with a fiscal-related title that rings a whole lot less impressive amid today's rampant inflation and 1%ers who now spend that much on a typical vacation

A weekend morning claymation show that centered around a boy and his talking dog that parents thought was adorable and taught valuable lessons, so they let their kids watch it, not realizing it was essentially thinly veiled propaganda seeking to convert all of us to Lutherans

A spin-off of a sketch from a popular variety show, let's watch the exploits of a matriarch, wearing the worst wig of all time, and her brood, with the characters being southern enough to appeal to red states, but mockable enough to draw in a blue state audience too

A lighthearted comedy about a perky sprite adopted by a cantankerous curmudgeon which is best remembered by everyone for somehow thinking it needed to teach kids about the dangers of playing in abandoned refrigerators

It's basically a fish-out-of-water Odd Couple, except instead Felix and Oscar are cousins, with Oscar from a far away made up country, and yet amazingly the most unbelievable thing about the show is how they were able to get two hot women to date them

Mild-mannered regular guy receives a superhero suit from aliens that gives its wearer special powers but oops he loses the instruction manual......no wonder people mostly recall the show now only for its one hit wonder theme song

I barely, almost, kind of, partially remember the answer to most of these. But this one was super easy for me because of the theme song you mentioned, the way the super hero flew and a real life incident that made them change the name of the main character mid-way through the first season. Let's see if those extra clues help anyone.
