I agree with you that the season was ultimately a letdown but I still consider the show a masterpiece on the strength of the first two seasons and a worthy finale.
I thought the same re: the quoted and I remember groaning as that trend just kept continuing.
Also, drinking game every time a character wakes up in a panicked sweat.
