I liked Judge Judy

And for the life of me, I've got to be the only person in America who thinks Hamilton is lame. It's like Rent with rapping.

Comedy geometry at it's finest, that was strong enough to be the finale.

I was pretty disappointed with this episode. The only part I really liked was the Relationship Non-disclosure agreement "Larry Longballs" tried to get his girlfriend to sign. The idea of going on Judge Judy was good, but I didn't like the execution.

I also thought that Hamilton looked like a horrible show; is that really what it's like? It looked like a parody of a terrible musical made for a comedy show. I'm pretty sure I would fall asleep during it even if I had played no golf and taken no pain pills.

Didn't think this episode was very good; I would rank it around the lower middle of the season.

I need more Bob Einstein. Just have Funkhouser move in with Larry imo

The episode felt a little more telegraphed than normal, and the Judge Judy stuff I thought would've been much better. Still solid though.

They need to get rid of Leon - or make him a rare character. It's almost becoming a joke itself in how they try to fit him in.

I thought for sure they would try to play off the "high desk" vs the cowboy hat to see which one had more power.

This was the second time they put in a court scene in an episode, and neither was good imo.

This definitely should have happened.

Whole season has felt off, agree with whoever said that it feels less improvised and more like a traditional sitcom.

This last ep was way too long and seemed to drag on as well.

I still enjoy watching the show, but something is definitely way off about it. The time off has really killed the style in which they film and a lot of Larry's ideas which could be hilarious just seem to die without being explored further.

On a way more nit picky note, did it seem weird that they hired Steven Weber to be the shucker? He's a 50 year old well known actor who seemed out of place in the role. He was good and the payoff was ok, but I feel like old curb would've hired a less established and younger actor for the role.

Did it ever occur to you that he's a fan and jumped at the chance to be on? We've also seen the likes of Ed Begley, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Perkins, Joe Regalbuto and Will Sasso in what some would consider "bit" parts.

I thought the whole shucker bit was pretty stupid. Hard to believe you would have to worry that something a food service employee overheard at a party would make it to a broadway producer and cause big problems for anyone.

What does the actor wanting to be on the show have to do with my point?

My issue with this whole season is that the show is getting away from what made it great. Part of my problem is the casting big names in place of characters that would make more sense. Lin Manuel Miranda being involved with Fatwa is an idea combination of both celebrity and fit. Steven Weber and Elizabeth Banks playing random roles seemed off to me.

Elizabeth Banks played herself.

So far I'm very happy with the season.

I also think most of the ideas or premises will age pretty well and won't be dated in two years (like many Seinfeld episodes still hold up today).

The callback to the old episodes by the Muslim investigator was pure fanservice but for me it worked. Michael J. Fox offering him a can of coke was hilarious.

"It's one the spectrum" is my favorite running gag this season, still haven't managed to work this into a conversation out of context, yet, unfortunately.

My minor point of critique is that we could use more of Jeff and Larry and a touch more Richard Lewis.

Einstein is seriously one of the funniest humans alive today imo. He's been on several podcasts the past couple of years and just ****ing kills every time.

This was a great one:

"I'd like to kick, what is her name? Kris Jenner? Right in the balls to make sure she never has another baby."

Also (re Winona Judd on DWTS): "I don't mind seeing hefty women dance, but I don't want to see it on television."

really awful season, reflecting back, and reading this thread. I guess with age you can simply lose your touch.

lol I laughed at tonight's...loved his house guests.

But this is the problem I have with most musicals. I don't see Fatwa being any worse than Hamilton, and I don't see Hamilton as being any better than Fatwa.

It comes down to the songs, and, man, I just don't leave Hamilton singing any songs.

Phantom of the Opera, A Chorus Line...guess I like those types better.

The actual musical had very little to do with the ep. Larry doing his dance and the added pants scene is all. This finale was awesome. The Aaron Burr thing to wrap it up was great.

man Cheryl should sue the **** out of her plastic surgeon.
her whole face is hideous but her nose in particular is a ****ing disaster.
don't understand why ppl can't just accept the natural aging process it ALWAYS looks better than getting work done.

take mary steenburgen for example, she looks 100x better than Cheryl and she's gotta be at least 10 years older.

edit: oh ya Lin miranda was fantastic. really impressed with his comedic chops.
