Just caught up with this show. Amazing stuff. JK Simmons is an amazing actor. The plot is sometimes hard to keep track of with 2 worlds & characters pais but they did a good job in making it as simple as possible.
Theories on the ending of episode 9? I noticed how they put some focus on the fact that the guy kept crawling until his bag was on the other side of the border, and he stopped once he achieved that.
The bag probably contains sensitive information the girl gathered since she clearly had good clearance in her job?
Well that was incredibly predictable. Major letdown. Even the one "surprising" thing (door closing) will be quickly turned around next season because the show doesn't work without it.
also Cyrus just randomly "hey lets have a shot of him taking a drink from a flask despite never showing any signs of weakness from this character and then getting murdered off screen by what appears to be totally unaware and unarmed Clare" is. ****ing. awful.

What show have been watching if you'd think Clare would ever be either unarmed or unaware? She went outside when her mother left and he was clearly in view.
Thought the finale was somewhere in the middle of the road in terms of episodes for the season. Season still masterful.
How come the 4th floor is the same in both worlds? Seemed...interesting. Or maybe I misunderstood that scene as they flipped back and forth between both crisis meetings with that weird camera thing on the table. But almost feels like the 4th floor could be aware of both sides? Or that's an interpretation anyway.
Binged this over the weekend. Fantastic show and great acting by entire cast -- loved how they didn't try to explain so many elements of the world...just forced you to watch it and try and figure it out yourself.
That's James Cromwell doing the narration in the trailer. He was Mellon in Boardwalk Empire, Phillip Bauer in 24, George in Six Feet Under. Been in quite a few top shows. Also well known for being the prison warden in The Green Mile.
