Dunno how I feel about the direction Quayle took at the end there. But I guess it takes the story down an interesting rabbit hole now.

How's Quayle going to prove Howard is the mole though? What would lead Aldrich to believe Quayle at this point? I'm interested to see where this goes. We only have a few episodes left in this season.

I'm trying to remember if Aldrich knows which Howard is on this side now? If he knows it's Howard Prime, he may not be buying what Quayle is selling. If Aldrich doesn't know this is the dangerous version of Howard, he might make a fatal mistake.

I'm guessing you couldn't get past the first sentence of Kafka's "Metamorphosis".

I guess we are to assume it's 100% to protect the baby. But honestly that seemed like a so-so line of thinking at best. Know what else hurts the baby? Protecting the real mole and being caught, lol.

I don't know how Aldrich would buy Howard Silk as the mole, didn't Howard just get there recently? Even if he has been coming to the other side for a long time, to get that close to Quayle to get classified information seems a stretch. Aldrich doesn't like Silk so maybe that's the angle they are going for, but they just talked about how good Aldrich is in not making mistakes.

Timid Howard had almost no access though?

Like rafiki said, meek Howard had almost zero access to anything. Spy Howard is on the other side except for the times that he comes over which is only for a couple days at a time. IDK how spy Howard could get highly classified info from Quayle that is believable.

Ok I suppose maybe you can run the story of timid Howard is actually some mastermind plant, yadda yadda his wife who we know is a spy. Runs some sort of team, we don't know all the members of the team.

That buys you some time I guess.

The end of last episode is going to be strange going forward. Aldrich isn’t going to fall for it I don’t believe.

This is my favorite new show in quite some time. The hour I look forward to most each week.

Curious if they can get more than 3 seasons out of it or if they'd even want to. A lot of the magic is in the scope of the stuff we don't know. I guess the illness and some other things are big enough to tackle and keep it fresh. Just seems like a tough show to get say 6 seasons out of. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Spoiler:
And then in season 4 they reveal THIRD PARALLEL WORLD WHHHHHAAAAAAAT

I've yet to start the Americans, so I know that's good.
This makes The Americans look like Sesame Street.

I'd recommend The Bureau as being in the same league

Doesn't anyone else find it strange that Clare talks with a British accent, yet her "father" in the show, the Diplomat, talks with an American accent?

yeah not seeing any obvious path to season 2 here in 2 weeks (yikes) other than uh Alpha Emily waking up and dropping some bombshell on us.

Claire Quayle Baldwin most likely to get knocked off right in that order?

edit: guess I don't see Baldwin dying actually. Meh.

So if the guy dies with his upper body in one universe and his lower body in the other, what happens?

Spoiler:
Season 2 becomes "The Bridge" sci-fi version

Did anyone else think he was going to blowup the basement area instead of just dying on the border like that?

That was an awesome episode. I think Emily waking up will be key to S2.

Quayle trying to kill himself was out of character but could be interesting going forward. Wonder how long it will be before Claire is found out.
