I can’t believe this show isn’t getting more love. JK Simmons is fantastic and the overall production has been excellent. This show has been surprisingly good.

Love that show! Also some Poker in it in ep 4! "You flop top pair and fold?" "It was a good bluff."

I wonder how it came about that they shot the show in Berlin. Considering past shows of that caliber (Berlin Station, Homeland S5) which you essentially could have shot somewhere else, there must be good conditions in Berlin for TV productions.

Why would it? I think the idea is that they go with the many-worlds theory, it just so happened that during a "split" something happened that created a gateway between the two alternative universes. I doubt that we learn more about the scientific background of what happened though, which is fine imo.

Nitpick: You send good guy Howard over without giving him at least some kind of rundown? Come on!

I’m wondering why bad-ass Howard didn’t tell regular Howard that his wife isn’t actuall dead. Seems like a huge mistake.

Loving the show, though.

I guess 007 Howard had instructed Raash to take care of that as well, or to make sure they never meet, but Chef Howard might have met her by accident right after the gateway (LAG Howard didn't know she was in the hospital, right?). Also things could have gone wrong; Raash could have been late or held up for some reason, so sending in Nit Howard so uninformed in general (handshakes etc.) seems sloppy.

At first I was unsure of JK leading a show in role like this, but he's been absolutely amazing in making me believe I'm almost watching two actors playing two different people.

One question: at the end of last week's episode (I think), a letter from prime Howard's wife is read letting us know that his wife (in a coma) was actually involved in "stuff" without his knowledge. Who was this letter to? Who actually knows this information at this point?

I didn't have a reason for saying that, I was just spitballing an idea.

This show kinda reminds me of The Leftovers, except you have the mirror character on the other side.

It was to Other Howard. She was his contact on her side.

That would be gay. They are two different Howards.

Ok, so does every show that takes place in Berlin now have Liv Lisa Fries in it?

Agreed.

Just an observation, but Harry Lloyd always seems to play characters who are a bit of a dink. He's good at it, though.

Ok what spy show or movie is better than this? Honest question. Right now these 7 episodes to me are the best spy thing I've seen.

I've yet to start the Americans, so I know that's good.

Did he though? It seems she actually loves him and their world, and might willingly turn. Obviously he couldn't have known that was a possible outcome though.

sort of just assumed she's THAT good (like her mentor saying "you don't get to have that" or whatever). But you may be right. Still that was some amateur **** for a dude in his position

FWIW, this isn't a Netflix show that dropped all its episodes at once. If the episode has aired, you don't have to put discussion what happened in spoiler tags.

She's a true believer. She'll do anything to complete her mission. Remember how she set up her lover to be killed? That only failed because Baldwin is a total badass assassin herself.

quayle is an amateur. thats the whole point. he was played from the beginning. he didnt get to his position on merit and has never achieved or been a part of anything remarkable.

this show is super cheesy in a lot of ways the whole "something happened and a new world started" is just lol.

but the conversation that his colleague had at the bar and what he was motivating quayle to do, and what quayle actually did was pretty good. quayle took his advice and protected himself.

Please explain how you would explain the parallel universe concept in a way that doesn't sound contrived.

I'm guessing you couldn't get past the first sentence of Kafka's "Metamorphosis".
