Yeah, the flags were great.

Not sure if the show would be better or worse without Chevy. Im betting he isnt leaving though.

What are they gonna do with Pierce? any chance they make him the teacher of the class they chose? no, right? he's obviously gonna be a main character still.

Probably just some drama to end the season on, like the Jeff/Annie kiss last year.

Jim Rash is super underrated. He delivers every line so well

Seriously Dean is my favorite non-Annie character on this show.

It was good and I know I would have liked it so much more if it didn't feel like somewhat of a letdown from part 1 but part 1 was so tough to match. I thought it was very good still though.

Wasn't crazy about it first time around, then like a fanboy I watched last week's and this week's back to back on a re-watch and the second part got better. A lot of clever things, cool moments (I love Troy and Abed secret-handshaking with guns then Troy kicking the door open with his foot, spinning around and popping the storm trooper), and great visuals.

I wonder if they're leaving it open for Chevy Chase to decide whether or not to keep his contract or quit the show.

I loved Magnitude jumping on the grenade "Pop...." then Troy freaking out "Pop what? What was he trying to say?!"

Agreed. Groundlings fan for some time, love how it was incorporated to Top Chef Masters.

Would someone who's better at image stuff than me make me an avatar-sized animated gif of the moment 11 minutes into the episode where Troy and Abed do the double tap handshake thing with guns? Thanks.

Just marathoned season 2 over the last couple of days. Great season overall, probably almost as good as season 1, but not quite imo.

I don't get the hate (or the mehs to be more exact) for the claymation, that episode was genius.

Really liked this. Think I liked it better than last week. Abed/Annie was fantastic (apparently the rule in Community is that Annie makes out in the finale. Next year- Britta!).

They paid off everything they've been doing with Pierce really well.

Like PJ, I just watched it again this morning together with part 1 and it is way better. I don't think it is as good as a stand alone episode because it isn't a stand alone episode...not to be misinterpreted as bad b/c it obviously isn't!

Just that one week later picking up half way through, it felt quick/rushed. No build up for an "epic finale" is weird...but there was a buildup is the thing, it was a week before but that momentum had subsided some with me (not sure if it had with you or others) by the time I started part 2. When I went back and watched them together it made part 2 much better.

I like what they did with Pierce too. I may be in the minority here b/c I see some Pierce hate sometimes but I hope he is back for S3. He isn't good enough for a main character but he adds just enough to be a spoke in the wheel. His 4-5 racist or sexist comments an ep help the pace, it also helps feed the other characters, he is somewhat a punching bag in many episodes and I think he would be missed.

Great episode, but not as good as part one obv. Abed didn't channel Han as much as I was hoping for. Annie was awesome.

Loved Pierce as a storm trooper.

Dean Pelton is one of the best parts of this show.

Denny's line was great

Troy getting shot up, all bit characters banding together, "Pop What!?!", Troy's mad plumbing skills, random stormtrooper lines all were great as well

They really should have done a butch and sundance reference with Abed and Troy when they got stuck in the library imo. Freeze frame and everything.
