I laugh my ass off at what a sissy Larry is. Pees sitting down. Mail woman throws mail at him and knocks him down. Goes to ER because toilet flushes too loud, hot towel was too hot. Running in full sprint from a guy in a wheelchair. 0 for life in physical confrontations with women. Great stuff

If anyone wants Smth to tide them over there’s an hour long mockumentary from 1999 titled Larry David: Curb your Enthusiasm on HBO(separate from the series). Some of the events from it are talked about in the series such as his beef with head of HBO when they are shopping Julia’s show to different networks.

yeah that was the original special which effectively became the pilot. larry has kids in it.

there’s an origins curb podcast series which has probably been discussed on here before - might be a good listen if you’re looking for more stuff.

That is the beginning of the show. Most have seen it. The callback to the stepfather dying in the shrimp incident is great.

That trailer is very strong. Usually in seasons past it was just okay; here though a lot of what I saw not only was funny on its own but gave me a strong sense that the overall material will be really good.

It's funny I've tried to get my father to watch Curb but he just can't stand Larry David...says he's a prick lol.

Using the maga hat to avoid people is vintage LD. Loved it.

Also thought it was interesting that basically, in my estimation, show Larry is now writing the show. But maybe that meta shifted last season I forget.
