i thought in s1e1 he couldn't even act, like it was all he could do to get the lines out. but he got waaaaaaay better! and i wonder if it was just nerves or he was uncomfortable or something. but his acting in ep1 is waaaaay worse than other episodes.

Hes maintained an active career, though this was probably his biggest role in a while. I actually think hes super hit or miss. I think its a tough character to play because of how straight they play everything. He swings wildly from absurd to reasonable, often within a single scene.

okay, just finished season 2, and I was enjoying it, but that last episode was ridiculous. A martial Arts battle royal at the high school and then things become "dramatic." It got really, really stupid.

No 3rd season for me.

I liked the show but there wasnt much to feelgood about though.

miguel kicking ass season one was feelgood. johnny and danny scenes as buddies were feelgood. But robbie and sam have been hateable the whole season and hawk is a total jackass now.

Peyton List. She’s 22 and done other stuff. Hannah Kepple aka Moon is hotter. She’s got that dazed and confused vibe and grew up in ultra hippy Asheville NC.

I thought the hot blonde was Elisabeth Shue.

feelgood was the wrong word thats how the show made me feel watching. its a fun funny show that not meant to be taken seriously

Spoiler:
the stingray scene where he comes out of the high school office and when the teacher with glasses goes in and splits up hawk and whoever i was in ****ing tears laughing so hard

if your watching this show and getting angry or upset over where certain characters or storylines are going your watching this show for the wrong reasons. IMO its a well written show that ties in Karate Kid plots and old scenes verry well. tell your friends to watch on but dont watch off

The last half of season two was so disappointing that I think the only hope for a s3 is an Elisabeth Shue re-appearance. Or, JOHNNY LAWRENCE heads over to Japan to track down Sato's top student from karate kid 2, who happens to also still harbour a grudge against kid Laruso and they agree to unite dojos to take on miagi do in some ancient rules battle to the death. Or something.

What if (adding in spoilers as it's just random speculation but maybe it ends up being true!)

Spoiler:
Tory is that guy's daughter

Came in here mostly to see if anyone posted this complaint. Yeah, this quasi-heel turn was really poorly executed. The writing definitely got lazier in general as the end of the season neared. It's like they realized they would need an additional episode or two but just shrugged because they only had ten to work with and proceeded to make it all work as best they could.

All that being said, enjoyed the hell out of s1. It's predictable af, some of the acting is terrible (mostly Johnny's son), it's basically an extended Hallmark movie, yet it's crazy likable and all the episodes flew by.

Just started s2 and enjoyed the first ep. Unfortunately, (end of s1/beg. s2 spoiler)
Spoiler:
Creese's return was spoiled by the damn Netflix home page!

Just finished s2. s1 >>> s2. s2 still had some good parts, but some of the bad parts were really bad. Still intend on watching s3.
