Holt's character has been growing this season. I think he is the most complex character, I have a hard time describing him.

I actually think they're making him more one dimensional. He's interacting and being more friendly and open to the crew, but they're making him more and more like a weirdo instead of just a outwardly strict boss. Like in the beach house episode, he missed every single social cue in the world. He's not supposed to be unaware or dense. Hope they keep those to a minimum.

And yes he is weird but what great TV comedy character isn't? There is different degrees of weirdness and Holt' is hard to pinpoint.

I think I prefer the focus on 2 stories rather than 3. Holt was great usual. Could do with less Jake tho

I look forward to the day when Peralta is fired, and replaced by the Dean Winter character. Of course, that would mean the swift cancellation of Battle Creek, and I doubt I'd want that.

I still laugh at least a little at every episode, but I'm just not caring about this show like I was season one. Every episode seems like Jake does something obnoxious and stretching boundaries of how a cop should act, Holt speaks very dryly and robotic, and Terry references his physique. Its good for a laugh, but last year I thought this show was one of the best comedies on TV. This year hasn't elevated it any.

Anybody figure out the seesaw riddle? I thought I had it figured out before he left the lunch room but then Amy got shot down with the 6 on each side answer. I forgot he could could weigh more or less than the other 11 people.
