very predictable episode but funny nonetheless. one of jake's better episodes comedically

Hmmm just watched this show up to the latest episode, it's kinda whatever, but passable. Some thoughts

I was really surprised to see in that picture posted that all the girls are similar heights.

Also, I can't believe people were posting in this thread they don't like Gina, she is by far given the best lines of the show and her comic timing is pretty good. Jake is also very funny although he misses the mark sometimes.

The rest of the characters just fill up screen time, imo. Diaz comes out with some funny lines here or there, but the captain, the suck up and the big black dude are just the same joke over and over again, and it hasn't been funny since the first episode or two. I was shocked to see people like the Boyle character, I find him truly intolerable.

After this latest episode it seems like they're going to be heading down a very similar path to community. I'm probably going to stop watching this show. gg

I can't imagine watching 5 minutes of this show without Holt, Terry, or Boyle. They're the best.

Boyle is the type of character I almost never like, but somehow he makes it work for me. Terry's joke has become a bit overplayed, but he still is a good character.

Not liking Gina seems like a bad play. Captain cracked me up this episode.

Are we still watching? I seem to forget about this show since the Sunday move.

Captain Holt cracks me up nearly every episode now. Just got caught up on the last 2, his reaction to guessing why Amy was late correctly at the beginning of the episode was nice. I've said it before but they usually nail every little into to each episode and have me laughing.

I'm definitely still watching. Love this show.

Moving it to Sundays saved this show (has good enough ratings to survive long term now). I'll agree with your other assessment.

Yea I didn't dig the last episode too much. Captain still solid as always though. Anyone else feel they kind of forgot about the whole Jake confessing his feelings for Amy Season 1? I know they touched on it a little but they haven't really done anything impacting with it. Love interest wouldn't ruin anything good about the show in my eyes.

I thought that ep was great. Wasn't too thrilled to see Helms at first, but he did well.

And Amy in that tank-top was NOICE!!

Yeah Amy. Thought this episode was a bit on the weak side but I would guess that it's hard to write 26 funny episodes of TV without having a bad one here and there. Still some good gags though.

It's a dangling preposition (grammatically incorrect). The captain was showing her it's ok not to be perfect.
