jesse just doing completely irrational things irritates me.

Im glad they had hank and walt confront each other this episode. Gives motivation to the plot to wrap things up over the next 7 episodes instead of that whole thing brewing for 4 or 5 weeks.

All I could think, I was shocked the confrontation happened episode one. I trust the writers completely, can't wait.

Anyone else notice Walt using the towel on the floor before he threw up just like Gus? Nice callback.

"Waited through" implies that we actually watched it.

Is this the new "gale is alive" and/or "the book is from gretchen"? OOTV in end of season form already

Observation: notice all the light-colored clothing Walt was wearing this episode and how sympathetic they were trying to make him look as he sat with his daughter as Hank looked out the window.

I kinda think they're setting up some kind of tragic downfall for Hank. Wouldn't the obvious play be to forget any damage to your reputation for letting a drug kingpin sit under your nose and call in the riot squad as soon as you see the dedication to WW in Leaves of Grass? Seems like that should be enough to arrest Walt. It's hubris on Hank's part, classic Greek tragedy stuff.

Not really true. We knew he comes back because the whole Denny's scene takes place in ABQ. In fact we technically don't even know he actually went to NH.

Jesse acting irrationally is completely in character and makes sense contextually.

The scene where they're talking about Mike's whereabouts was maybe Aaron Paul's finest work.
