And as mentioned earlier by Philly03, it's probably his watch that triggers this response.
i dont think he was bargaining for hank for purely selfless reasons. Look how his entire world just blew the **** up because of hanks death. Skyler, walt jr, completely against him now. He's completely lost all shred of hope to be with his family.

There was some practicality to making sure hank didn't die, jesse on the otherhand is the opposite. At this point, walt has to blame jesse at least somewhat for forcing his hand, getting hank involved, and getting hank killed.
  • He thinks jesse is a low life rat
  • Jesse got hank involved forcing walts hand which ended up with hank being dead. (whether this should get pinned at jesses feet is irrelevant, walt will see it that way, and certainly was pissed off about it when he called for a bullet to go into jesses head)
  • He wanted jesse dead on the spot
  • signs jesse over to be tortured
  • tells him how he saw jane die as one final **** you
  • now because jesse ratted, hank is in a hole in the ground, walts entire family is turned against him, and he's down 70 million dollars
  • the show is called breaking bad. how can you end the show with a selfless act?

I don't see any logical, non-irritating path to walt all of a sudden forgiving jesse. It doesn't make sense for walts character.

That said, with so many people predicting the above line, I am a bit scared, I really hope it doesn't go down that way.

That doesn't automatically happen in real life.

I really have no idea what to say other then that was exceptional. I'm glad I was right about some things and glad that I was wrong about others. I really have no idea how there are 2 episodes left. I'm guessing next week is the fallout in the eyes of everyone but Walt, then the finale is whatever Walt ends up doing. That's about as much as I'm willing to speculate now. I don't want to ruin anything.

Watch the scene when Walt tells Jesse about Jane. Walt's face, in particular.

how didn't he tell um to **** off or something and give them a few mil or something way less than what they got.... i mean all that time and effort walt put into building that fortune for a bunch of scrubs to walk away with most of it?

walt offered up the money if they let hank live

they didn't live up to their end of the deal so why are they walking away with it ALL?

i hope walt re-claims it all somehow ldo
maybe due to the fact that the nazi's are the muscle and there was 6 of them with automatic weapons

more wtf why didnt the nazi's just kill jesse and walt? THAT is the ridculous part, no matter how much respect Nazi Jack has for Meth Damon, absolutely no point keeping them alive, or at least both of them alive, especially walt.

actually why didnt jack kill everyone apart from Meth Damon and kept the money?

Thank God so much got resolved this ep. The less that goes unresolved, the less nonsense I have to read ITT.

My one pithy comment: Skylar had a choice, the phone or the knife. She chose the knife.

What if Walt finds out blue meth is being made again and realizes they didn't kill Jesse? He comes back for vengeance/revenge rather than to save Jesse?

Okay, one thing I can say:

For awhile, I've been on the fence on who I'm rooting for. It's been Jesse for the most part, but a couple of weeks ago, when he took sides with Hank, I was out of that camp. Had Jesse taken out Walt on his own, wonderful. But with those two joining forces, I was pretty pissed at Jesse for that. I wouldn't go so far to say that I was on Team Walt after that, but I was certainly not on Team Jesse anymore.

Now, I'm torn again.

Jesse's face when the Nazi snatched him up, slightly shaking his hand and mouthing "no" to Walt was heartbreaking. Then to see him beat to **** and chained up made it that much worse.

Walt got cold-****ing-blooded in this episode. He might've ended made good for his family, but he still went darker then I thought he would've.

Look at Walt's face when he *first* tells Jesse he watched Jane die. He then side steps into the view of the Nazis', and his demeanour changed.

I might be stretching, but my god. Things obviously change when he realizes he lost his family (after the knife fight). This episode.
I guess even if his demeanour changes, it might be nothing more then going from thinking about Hank to relishing hitting Jesse.

I feel like there's still so many ways they can end this. AND THERE'S ONLY 2 EPISODES LEFT!! What an insane show.

I DVR'd the episode this week hoping to watch it straight through. LOL me. I had to actually pause it during the commercials to go to the bathroom, get drinks, etc, anything to give myself a break between segments so it took me like 75 minutes to watch. Man that episode was intense.

That was a cool touch. I thought she was gonna choose the phone.

Not saying they'll do it, but they've eluded to te fact that they might. There's no way Walt confesses it. To anyone really.

Anyone have a theory on that?

2 kinds of people in the world, those that check social media at the exact time their favorite shows are playing, thereby spoiling things like the red wedding, breaking bad, etc

and those that have common sense.
