lets all determine our bb hipster level
sadly I wasn't very hipster, started watching right after S2 had ended.
top lol moment of the series was when everyone thought the S3 finale was a 2 hour thing and after the "first" episode ended it slowly sinked in that it wasn't.
When: August 11, 9pm EST through September 29, 9pm EST (no breaks)
What: The final season of the GOAT show
Who:
1. Walter White
- Former HS chemistry teacher turned drug kingpin
- Lung cancer, inoperable
- GOAT pizza thrower
- Hits up a Denny's on his 52nd birthday (flash-forward) w/ full facial hair, tips $100 and leaves with an M60 in the trunk of the car he is driving and a ton of ammo.
- He has seen some **** in this show. Jane's death, Combo's death, his GF's brothers death, and the near death of Brock at the hand of Gus due to ricin poisoning.
- Swerveeeeeee, it was actually ****ing Walt all along who poisoned Brock, with the help of Huell and a plant called Lily of the Valley!
- Hank's been after Heisenberg since S101 basically, and when we last saw him he finally found his man while taking a **** at Walt's house nonetheless.
- But in this tight spot will he destroy the only evidence he has??!??!?!
-Knows that Walt killed Mike, helped dispose of the body.
Gomez
- Some people have theorized that Gomez is a mole in the DEA. It's possible I guess, but unlikely.
Skinny Pete & Badger
- Jesse's old stoner buddies
Gretchen and Elliot Schwartz
- Gretchen is Walt's former lover, she married his grad school buddy Elliot
- Elliot won the Nobel prize for his research/chemistry business Gray Matter
- I think Elliot may end up being a decently big player, or we will at least here more about him and Walt's backstory. Check what Gus is wearing here compared the Elliot's outfit in the image above:
Coincidence? Maybe.
Holly White
-Walt's infant daughter. Will she die? That would be seriously dark.
I forgot other stuff that happened and wanna get caught up. What do?
Watch all 67 episodes in the next 4 days. You even have time to sleep. If you're lazy though you can check out some of the various recap videos online. Here are some good recaps and other misc. breaking bad videos.
Some open questions to consider & theorize over in the next few days
1. The vial of ricin Walt took from Jesse's cigarettes. He was going to use it on Lydia but didn't. He put it back behind the electrical socket. Obviously it will come into play in these last 8 episodes. Who will he use it on?
2. Jesse's gun. Jesse slid a gun across the room after Walt left his house in there final scene together, and the camera zoomed in on it. More than likely it will come into play too.
3. Walt's cancer. Is it back? We saw Walt coughing and taking pills in the flash forward.
4. Is what really done cooking Meth? There's a big business spot to fill otherwise, with Walt suddenly dropping out of the business
5. Marie's yellow shirt. Some have theorized that this sudden change of shirt indicates that Marie will become a danger to Walt in the final episodes (yellow = caution). Gus was often seen wearing yellow.
6. Leaves of grass. The book that may end up incriminating Walt. We saw it several times at his bedside throughout Season 5, and it ends up in the bathroom at the end of Season 5. Some people have theorized that Walt intentionally left the book there, almost hoping to be caught. He is Walt after all, and he is always one step ahead of the game. Admittedly no one is perfect, but we have rarely if ever seen Walt make a mental error like that before on the show.
7. Will Walt end up a villain or a tragic hero? A few pointed out that in the Denny's flash forward scene, it looked like he was wearing a wire. It's possible. Vince Gilligan likes to leave clues like that. For example, take the ricin-lily of the valley debate that ended in some people exiling themselves from the Season 4 thread for being wrong (lol) - if you looked closely at Huell's pat-down scene on Jesse a few episodes before the Season 4 finale you could have seen this:
and if you look at a close-up in the Season 5 opener you could have seen this:
Is it just Bryan Cranston's mic, a simple production mistake, or something more? It's definitely not outside the realm of possibility to think Walt teams up with Hank and turns into a hero at the end of the story, which leads me to...
8. Who's going to die???
If there's anything you can be sure of heading into these final episodes, it's that people will die. I think at least 3-4 of the names I listed in this post will die. There's actually a fantasy website where you can predict who you think is going to die and score points. http://www.bettingbad.com/

Call me crazy but i think everyones gonna come out of this okay. Hank will realise Walt made a mistake. They will hug it out and then the rest of the season will be Walt and Jr opening a breakfast place.
I think Jesse will find out about Jane and Brock, one of the big plot points will be how he reacts imo...
not sure about the walt/hank teaming up thing but anything is possible at this point... still, if walt is wearing a wire in that scene why does he need a machine gun from black market guy?
no way around that with vbulletin. The earlier post becomes the OP even if it gets "merged into" the good one. If it gets deleted to make room for the later better op the whole thread goes away. Deleting the lesser thread rather than merging would have been the right play here
