Just occurred to me- two other compelling films which deal with a very limited cast in limited settings are Five Fingers (2006), where Morpheus goes all Abu Ghraib on Ryan Phillipe when he's kidnapped in Morroco & Sidney Lumet's The Offence (1972 released 1973), in which Sean Connery's burnt out detective interrogates suspected child molester Ian Bannen, both which are worth checking out.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_(2014_film)

Diplomacy is a nice film where almost all of it takes place in a single room between two characters. It's based on the true story of a Swedish diplomat trying to dissuade the German general in charge of demolishing Paris from doing so.

"Buried", with Ryan Reynolds, takes place almost entirely inside a coffin that Reynolds was buried alive in, and is 10x better than it sounds based on that premise

I liked this one too. Seems gimmicky but worked.

Thirded on Buried. Reynolds is generally likeable, so his predicament really gets to you in the moment.

Yeah I mentioned Buried earlier along with Phone Booth.

That would be a sweet gig, showing up to work every day and laying in a box, wearing the same clothes. Probably have all the lights and stuff set up so no waiting around.

In the episode when Mike dies, he abandons his granddaughter, and I think the next scene they show him by the water, throwing stones. Does this have any hidden cultural significance? It seems like Yom Kippur was occurring during this time and he was trying to get some forgiveness by washing his sins away with that ritual. Ehrmantraut certainly could pass for a tribal name, any thoughts?

Definitely the Yom Kippur angle

Was this made with Gilligan in charge? I'm having trouble finding a lot of details about this, and I was totally unaware.

Trailer looks great. I've been putting off rewatching Breaking Bad, haven't rewatched it since last season aired (I rewatched earlier seasons a ton when new seasons were coming out). Good opportunity, but it's going to be tight to watch everything before it airs .

Wow, they kept the filming locked down. There have been rumors but no set leaks? No random pictures released? Thats a damn good job.

'grats on aaron paul's career continuing into 2019

ditto for slippery pete or whatever, but leaning on him to carry the trailer is ... concerning

doubt they'll have walt survive, but wonder if cranston might appear in a flashback or something
might as well

This was more of a teaser, there'll be a full trailer before it airs.
Also Pete is awesome.

VG in charge and I did not hear about this until now, they kept this on the low right? Why tho?

LOL - Aaron Paul has at least a dozen credited roles in IMdB since BB, and he'll be a regular character in s3 of Westworld.

Chaeles Baker, the actor who played Skinny Pete has 25 credited roles since then, including The Balcklist.

Deadline had a piece about it last fall when they found out about a movie with the working title “greenbrier” that was short in Albuquerque and then again in February when they basically already reported what was officially announced only now.
