Do they play just one episode a week or do they put them all up at one time? I've been binged the last few season's so I don't know.

bosch writer michael connely wrote a book with a new hollywood detective, a good looking young woman. it was pretty good, just a simulacrum of the bosch novels though

My new favorite show. I love the way Bosch talks on the phone. There's no need to say bye. Just hang up when the conversation is through.

I was going to make fun of how high Bosch wears his pants, but then he just started off ep2 with "See if you can find some of that coffee made from ground cat ****" and now I like his style

I'm a bit of a LA-phile in all regards and there are very few things that capture the vibe of LA as well as this show. Whoever is behind this show definitely is aiming for that and does an absolutely fantastic job. They portray the city as it actually is and don't show too much concern for focusing on what outsiders think it is (which is what most other do).

I've only ever been in LA for a few days but I love books and films about cities and Bosch is right up there with the very best in my opinion.

Really enjoyed the new season for that reason and just in general, its a slow burner but its now one of my favourite shows.

i recently moved to hollywood and it's fun hanging in the same neighborhood as bosch. the books really capture the city too imo. at least hollywood is a major character in the books imo

21+ year resident here. The way LA is portrayed is one of my favorite things about this show - the locations, the way it's shot, etc. It feels very much like "my" LA. They stretch reality in several places, but the only thing that I notice on a regular basis is the the lack of time in traffic. With all the awesome places they go they'd be spending half of their lives stuck in traffic. Of course they can't have that in the show, I know. Just a reminder of how great this place would be without that one terrible terrible feature.

I'm on episode 8 of this season and it's ****ing awesome.

That poker scene in episode 1 is lol. At least they captured the essence of of LA poker with the "no checks accepted" guy.

yeah man, her other poker scenes are ****ing ridiculous too. makes me lose respect for her as an actress. they're filming in a casino. how hard is it her for her to watch how people look at their cards? or just ask a player to show her? jfc

of course all of it is ridiculous, not just her.

I will never get tired of seeing the Bradbury building for location shooting.

I had to wait until yesterday to start the show due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control but I finished in two days. I enjoyed this season more than the others even though the Eleanor death was so easy to see coming. As a Connellyphile you can see he has put his stamp on how the show should feel and be seen. Connelly has a good vibe of the city that is very evident in the books and translates well to to the screen.

This is a kick *$$ show and this was a sublime season.

Thanks for not putting spoiler tags on a huge ****ing spoiler 5 whole days after the season premiers. I really appreciate that and it totally doesn't make you an ******* at all.

finished it.

the end made me feel hella lonely "sacred ground"

i didn't like this season nearly as much as the other seasons. not sure why. just seemed more boring? idk

it was annoying how they made the protesters seem like such completely clueless idiots, as though protesting unjust police violence and corruption is invalid.

i don't like how harry treats j edgar. j edgar is a sick partner and always has harry's back. harry treats his daughter like **** too. he has no respect for her

Just finished last night. I actually thought it was the best season so far. Much more character driven as opposed to action driven if that makes sense.

I just got the finale left. even tho Bosch still is a kickass show, I've found this season to be kinda muddled. I've enjoyed the day to day (like crate & barrel) stuff more than the actual storylines. Tired about the chinese/reggie thing and this dumb lawyer death. Just want it all to be over and lets get back to a more non-conspiratorial murder case or something.
