I finally watched this and it was pretty good. Titus did a good job but if you've read the books you know Bosch was left handed and that sort of bothered me. The cinematography was excellent and the directing was very good.

Does anyone know what book S2 will revolve around? Kind of hope they go back and do Black Ice or Concrete Blonde.

Anyone ready for the new season, it comes out March 11. The trailer looked interesting and I'm curious where this season leads.

It's up, this show is really good. I enjoy the dry humor, and the acting is top notch

Bosch 2.0 - now with even more the Wire alums!

I feel like the only reason this show hasn't gotten t a lot of traction is because it's on Amazon, which is a shame because the content they're putting out is pretty good

Agree with poster above. I watched the first EP when it came out. Enjoyed it. So marathoned the rest yesterday. Great season!

I really liked S2E1. If I didn't have to be at work this morning, pretty sure I coulda binged the entire season

Pretty good. They are doing a good job of weaving the book stories together to make a coherent TV SHow. I felt the stuff about his mother while a very small plot was the weakest part, it felt forced, and I dont get why they wouldnt keep that for an overarching plot for a further season if they do one

s2e5-6 spoiler

Spoiler:
so are we supposed to believe that the cop (ziggy from the wire / dude from generation kill / guy in tangerine) didn't know about the hit on his partner? assuming he didn't, **** coulda gone way south and he coulda ended up dead too, which means the hit was practically on him too

would have been great in s2ep1 if in response to the captain's wife asking what he was playing on the piano he said "Lick my Love Pump ."

I waited until I saw the series in full before posting. This was easily better than S1 for me. The writing is top notch and the material, of course, is good and the feel is excellent. The acting is very good and the chemistry between them is top notch.

If anyone wants to read the books start at the beginning which is Black Echo, I believe.

I liked season 1, but season 2 was a lot better overall, in my opinion. I did think it kind of went out with a thud in episodes 9 and 10, but it was still good.

Black Echo is definitely the best place to start. It gives a lot of backstory about the character, and is an excellent book.

Agree. Really wished they could have had a different resolution than the group shoot out. Having Marks there in person also made no sense.

I finished season 2 and I agree with all of this. Also the deputy director has the most deadpan faces I've seen in that one scene.

watched season 1. really dig the supporting cast.

2 of jack bauer's girls
2 wire alums
1 west wing speaker of the house
1 of dexters victims
1 walking dead dude

probably a few others im forgetting

especially nice that they even kept the sequencing correct that bosch used to be with nina but now is with renee walker.
