I've always enjoyed Van Alden's storyline.

Glad that Mount Van Alden finally erupted. I think he is one of the best parts of the show. That crazed psycho look of his was perfect.

Awesome episode, Norway representing!

This episode is the missing link between the dull and the awesome.

I hate the grin Maggie puts up.

Haha, Vesuvio foreshadowing is sweet. I never make the connection in real time though.

Killa, yea, I didn't want to go too into detail because of last year. I'm assuming that the bottom part is how this season ends(or close to it) and that the 1st part ends next season

This ep was the awesome.

Thought it was worth noting that Stephen Root has been brilliant in all his scenes so far.

Root has been brilliant in all of his scenes going back to News Radio. Dude is an awesome, and underutilized/underappreciated, actor.

Haha figures, this was the first ep where I was like 'Damn, Billie looks good.'

Excellent ep, this show is great, etc. etc.

Wow. Last week was my least favorite episode of the entire season and this one the best so far.

Re: Boardwalk Empire: Season 3

And like others said that Van Alden scene was just great. Seeing that guy who was a minute prior mocking Alden start crying like a little girl was just so satisfying.

And yeah , that subtle evil grin was a great addition.

I cant beleive that they expect us to believe that he'd win that fight. 25 yr old dude in perfect health/shape vs a 50 yr old smoker/drinker/scarecrow.

I was really expecting a little realism here and was ready to see Nuchy get wupped up on. That **** was just silly.

Reminded me when he attacked the Korean guy in the Sopranos and ended up getting the worst of it. That seemed more realistic.
