What is the likelihood of this being renewed for a second season?

Is this (awesome!) show isn't renewed, I don't know what is.

I'd watch an entire show of just Raymond Reddington going through his day.

This show is really good, especially for a network show

Renewed • “The Michael J. Fox Show” was picked up for the full season; “The Blacklist” has been renewed for Season 2. NBC Entertainment boss Robert Greenblatt told TV critics meeting in Los Angeles that "Parks and Recreation" would be back next season, although no formal announcement has been made.

One one hand - good. We now know Red was right about Tom.

OTOH, Tom was clearly put in play by whoever long before Red established his connection with Lizzie. But before her connection to Red, she's essentially a nobody; a low-level profiler, not much more than a rookie with zero access to anything significant.

So here's the nit-picky question. Why would some shadow group invest the time and assets putting a deep-cover agent in with an FBI version of a meaningless beat cop? Did they know Red was going to put her into play?

I enjoy the show, but they continue to stretch suspension of disbelief.

They obviously knew they had some connection.

Red didn't bring her in and accidentally gave them access, he brought her in to protect her from this group.

But that's what doesn't make sense unless they already knew about her connection to Red.

So the plausible explanation is they went after her to get at Red, then Red turns himself in and asks for her so he has the means to get them and at the same time protect her.

Unless they knew ahead of time he was going to turn himself in, too.

They have been hinting for a while that his treason want really treason and it was a hugely elaborate undercover operation undertaken by a small group of extremely powerful people.

There will be some massive inplausible thing happening in the finale. Like Lizzy has been undercover as a bad girl or some crap.

I think theirs more to Tom's backstory. Like why was he pushing so hard to adopt a baby. If im living the spy life do I wanna have a kid with the wife im trying to spy on? I think doing that would stop me from doing my job to the best of my ability.

Good post. I am quite excited to see how this all plays out. Red continues to crush.

I wonder why Tom killed Jolene? I'm starting to wondering if Tom started off as a mission with Lizzie then fell for her. Maybe he killed Jolene to get her off his back and away from them.

Pretty sure he killed her because he figured Red was the one tailing her and so she was a loose end

Nonsense by killing her he puts all the suspicion on to him. By letting her live and maybe she killed the cowboy dude then Red wouldn't focus his attention as much on Tom.

I still enjoy this show despite the absurdities.

Like Tom suffocating Jolene by holding some sort of fabric over her head for like 15 seconds.
