is my recap the seasons correct?

Season 1: Red surrenders to the FBI. WHY?
for protection against Berlin? in exchange, he gives them his Blacklist.

Season 2:
The Decembrist (Alan Alda), an agent for the Cabaal, was the person that set up Berlin and made it look like it was Red.
This season is about Red vs the Cabaal?

Season 3:
Conclusion of the Cabaal arc.

Season 4:
Liz's dad is alive, despite Red telling her he died that that house fire when she was 4 in Season 1.
billionaire Dad is dying and needs Agnes's dna/bone marrow??

thank god the alexander kirk/baby agnes subplot is over.

it was excruciating to watch.
so many plot holes, like why didn't alexander take liz's bone marrow to cure him when he first captured her many months ago?

Yeah I didn't like the "give me back my baby" stuff. And I hate Lizzy in general. Red is the only reason I watch. I can't stand pretty much everyone else. The high school love plot between the two agents is disgusting (no one cares!) and Ressler is the WOAT FBI agent. I don't even like the sound of his voice.

hm.. Red's long game?
make Kirk believe that Liz is his daughter for decades?!?!

Blacklist started up again.

how is Liz an agent again?!
what happened at the end of last season that could have given her the job back???

2 theories about mr Kaplan that came to mind:

1) her 'sister' is really her.
Red found her, and decided to put her name into the witness protection list and let her retire in peace.
just like he let that girl
Spoiler:
from the Harem
retire in peace.

2) her sister is really her sister.
Red's story about protecting her identity is true.

that means the person who stole his $$$ was mr Kaplan.
she killed his money launderer and made it look like a heart attack.

the more I thought about it, the more I don't believe #1.
the govt has backup copies of the list. so adding names to the stolen list does no good.

I think #2 will come into play when Red finds out that mr Kaplan is person sabotaging him.
and as show formulas go, she'll be found at her sisters place.
aka chekhov's gun.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekhov's_gun
"If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off. If it's not going to be fired, it shouldn't be hanging there."

basically, if it's mentioned, it will be used later.

so everything still points to Mr Kaplan as the person behind Red's compromise.
after all, she probably has the most knowledge about him and his activities.

so why isn't he getting help from his new friends from last season (the Cabaal)?

is next week the season finale because Blacklist: Redemption starts?

btw- one of his accts that got emptied had $200M?!
How much $ does he have?

is it me or has Blacklist: Redemption fallen off it's rockers?

the plot went from keeping Dad being alive and Tom being her son a secret from her to everything revolving around Whitehall.

Dad knows more than what he leads on since Whitehall recognizes Dad.
Mom also seems to have a desperate interest in Whitehall as well since she tortures Tom over what he knows about him.

so is both mom + dad corrupt and there's no good guy?

next week is the season finale.
Will there be a season 2?
or was this just a one shot filler arc?

Ironic I felt that an episode without the entire main cast basically, is my favorite of the entire series.

Really liked season 1, thought 2 was OK and had trouble finishing season 3 because it kinda started to annoy me.

Any reason to give it another shot with season 4?

FWIW, watched the first two episodes of Blacklist: Redemption and didn't like it at all.

regular Blacklist came back.
uggg.. plot holes/lazy writing. (but not as bad as Redemption)

Dembe is on the run. he's walking around in the forest and gets hit in the leg by an arrow.
he doesn't pull out his gun.
WTF?! how does hired muscle NOT pull out a gun when attacked.
lazy plot device to not kill his attacker but to let Red capture him instead. ugg...

with megan boone throwing a curveball to the show by having a baby in real life, they try to shoehorn the new story arc to fit within the original parameters/premise of the show.
and failing miserably

season ended. ugg. bad (but not as horrible as Redemption).

poor Boz.
hopefully he comes back next season.

still no closer why Red picked that particular day to turn himself him and inject himself into her life.

and did she get hit with Stockholm syndrome or something?!
accepting Red after all he did to her was WTF?!?!?!

Red said he has never lied to Liz.
But red also said that he's not her father back in season 2 (I think).

So now in season 5, he's her father.
Uggg...

i predict the bones is that of the real Red, who died when Liz was 4yrs old in that house fire.
and possibly shot by liz herself.

the guy who took his place is an imposter, thus why he said he isnt her father.
and why he said he has never lied to her.

and thank god they got rid of the baby arc.
the ratings are higher

Have had this in the DVR all summer. Finally caught up. Nice call AA.

I figured out the whole escape with Liz was a ruse to fool Reddington-2. So after all this it’s just the old Principal Skinner plot.

This show is now grasping at straws.
The arc about who is Raymond Redington is winding down so now the show is desperately trying to keep the viewers interested by starting another arc.

But a plot against the US involves the president of the US?
Treason by the president?
And How does that involve red?

Tomorrow's the season finale.
And the plot turns out to be the president is going to assassinate himself?
Fake assassination to increase chances of being reelected?

Or the chief conspirator being a patriot because she knows the president took foreign funds for his election campaign and is in the pocket of some mysterious group?

And again, how does this plot involve red?

And speaking of powerful groups, what ever happened to the Cabal???
Wasn't red now a member a few seasons ago, before the stupid baby sub-arc?

New season started.
I've watched till episode 3.

Oh God, mom is alive.
Wtf her betraying Red on their 1st meeting after all these decades of not seeing him? After all he's sacrificed for her...

Where's is Liz's Russian billionaire dad?

I predict a spin off for avram, IT geek turned 007.
But predicting that this won't be a great season and probably the last season.

Still don't know why Red have himself up to the FBI in season 1

season 8 started.
2 episodes so far, next one is 2 months away in Jan.

at least this season Raymond has his para-military back.
last season it was just him and Dembe going into dangerous environments without backup. wtf was up with that?

also, a couple of seasons ago when everyone was hunting Raymond because he was betrayed by mr. kaplan, what happened to the Cabal?
thought Raymond was now a senior member at the table? yet they and their resources were no where to be found.

uggg.. this show has fallen apart at the wheels.

edit:
and what happened to Liz's billionaire dad?
the one that let Raymond go many seasons ago?

didn't that happen like 3 years ago? I know james spader is a great actor so I assume that's what is keeping this going. but how much more can they possibly milk this show for?

season 8, episode 6 was a tribute to the Glenn, the DMV guy.
he died in real life last year.

1) where is Elizabeth keen?
She hasn't been seen for a few episodes.
Is there a problem with the actress ( Megan boone)?

2) what happened to red's para-military army?
He has a fast response surgical team.
What happened to his gunmen?
Why is he entering dangerous situations himself???
