The Blacklist [This Fall on NBC] The Blacklist [This Fall on NBC]

Last two episodes of season 2 were solid. I can look past all the incompetence of the FBI and just enjoy the show for what it is though. Dembe back story was nicely done, still 2nd GOAT right behind the obvious Red. That episode was something out of Wrong Turn. Did Ressler actually kick his PK addiction successfully? That kind of hit home for me with a friend currently trying to nip it in the butt on his own as well.

Stormare was sort of underused in his role but my God was his eventual daughter smoking. That eye and smile combo is deadly! I wish it were closer to Halloween, I'd definitely rock a Reddington look. I guess Red is going to have to fight off all these sharks coming for him now but I'm curious how long they can keep it up, show flirts with getting stale then does just enough to peak my interest again.

I definitely do not think Ressler has kicked his addiction. They're obviously saving that up for a point where it will compromise some mission. I pretty much root for his death now.

Ressler is one of the worst TV characters for me. I despise every second he's on screen, every word he speaks, every breath he takes. It's not just the character, by the way. The actor's voice is so mundane & dumb sounding. How did he ever break through in acting?

What I don't understand is if this character is meant to invoke these kinds of emotions from the viewer or if it's just me.

His voice is actually very similar to Jeffrey Tambor's voice. He's just using it very differently. No one liked him on Homeland either...lol.

Yeah I'm behind on Homeland but I really hope your use of "liked" means he's dead!

Not dead, just kind of stopped showing up one day, and no one missed him (I could be wrong, can't remember how he left the show...lol).

Hell no, that was the best one since the season premiere. Lots of good plot advancement. I'm looking forward to the conclusion.

Also, the show was just renewed for a third season, so good news there.

Meh not really enjoying this any more. Spaders still good but the rest suck and I wouldn't care if any of them died in show. Episodes and acting are cheesy and dumb. Not really sure whats going on in the main arc, keep forgetting and cba trying to remember.

Lets see:

- Spader waltzes thru a ton of heavily armed mercs and kills them all w/o being hit. They had body armor. He didn't.

- the fighter planes that launched the missiles didn't notice a chopter enroute to the prison?

- everyone's looking for the Fulcrum for years. it disappeared the nite of the fire when Lizzy was 4. no one thought of looking in her stuffed bunny that survived the fire!??!

- Lizzy never noticed that hard lump in the bunny?!

shall I go on?

right now, the only thing left that's keeping me interested is the burn mark on her wrist and it's significance.
and why did the box she found under the floorboards in her house have that exact marking?

Is it bad I've watched nearly all the episodes and have no idea what bunny you're talking about?

no.. she had it in the 1st season when she was still married to Tom.

hm.. could it be that Tom put it there, and maybe on the request of Spader?

Then why would Reddington be searching her memories to find it?

I think Red blocked her memories and he knows the truth.

saw 1/2 the episode so far.

so Red had to be at 2 places at once:
1- Meet w/the mystery guy
2- intercept the eye witness linking Liz to the harbor master's murder.

so why couldn't Red just meet w/the mystery guy while hiring someone (a negotiator, a used car salesman, etc) to bribe the eye witness?

bribing someone is not exactly a difficult skill.

Show may have run its course for me. I'm no longer impressed really.

I think it ran its course before this season even started, but I still watch. I don't give the slightest crap about the Red/Elizabeth mystery, which is why I kept going to begin with. I think I'm dropping it as well.

if that item found in the stuffed bunny is the Fulcrum, then I'm done w/the show.

Red + others have been looking for this thing for decades.

for all their combined resources, no one thought "what else survived besides Elizabeth Keen on the nite the Fulcrum disappeared?"

Uh, bye. There's no doubt it's the Fulcrum. I thought that was clear.
