Well, thoughts?

I liked this show throughout, looking forward to next season.

I think Hannibal ending is gonna be GOAT though

Berlin I would assume is Elizabeth's father and he didn't die in the fire?

If that were the case then either Red would know who was chasing him (if he thought he was alive) or he wouldn't care so much about Lizzy finding out her father is (if he really thinks her father is dead)

It was the bloodbath that wasn't. Goodbye Parminder. I wish they wouldn't have wimped out and killed all three.

There was a drop that was important in the storyline, and I think that the end scene showed that Red is probably her father. There are only two things that could be the truth. The first is that Red was trying to kill her father, and saved Lizzy. The other is that he is her father, and he "died" in the fire that night, as he said (we saw massive burn scars on him in the final shot). Part of the storyline here was the use of language, and the "he cut off his hand" being interpreted incorrectly originally. You can use that same language touch to describe what Red said to Lizzy, meaning that the man he was before died in the fire that night.

I thought it was a nice re-telling of The Usual Suspects, though they absolutely should not have cast Stormare as Berlin. It was too obvious what was going to happen with his casting, but it was still pretty well done.

Berlin is her grandfather? Maybe?

Oh yeah, that's the other possibility, that Berlin is Lizzy's dad.

my guess is that, red isnt lizzies farther. He done something or was somehow the cause of the fire where lizzies parents died. REd was there and saved her and berlin is lizzies grandfather hunting red down for the fire.

didnt red and berlin have the same photo of that women, maybe it was lizzies mom? and red is lizzies uncle?

Berlin is 60 in real life, so there's no way he's Lizzy's grandfather. Anything else could be in the air, but grandfather doesn't seem like it would be one of them.

Just got caught up. I called my shot on guard being Berlin instantly.

Scars on Red's back seem to indicate he's Daddy and Reddington is a new identity he took.

They sure want to us to believe Berlin is EKs Grandfather and blames Red for his daughter (Red's wife/GF) getting sent to him in pieces.

Of course, the above can be all misdirection.

Tom is clearly alive for next season.

Spader really delivered. Megan Boone can't act. At all.

Yeah, it's awful. I'm sure those "tears" were sprayed on her face before calling action. She was really pretty when it started, but she's so bad, I can't look at her like that anymore. But, those shots in the snow and post-production really made those blue eyes pop.

Agreed. He was way to recognizable. When they treat him as a throwaway scene in the hospital, obviously I'm thinking something is up.

You'd think writers and casting directors in general would be more aware of the meta...

I don't think I've ever seen anything promo'd as hard as S2 of this in LA. It's on 1/2 the billboards and half the buses.

Yeah, in NYC there are tons of spoof magazine covers all over the subway system featuring Red.

Binge watching this on Netflix right now, hope to finish it up this weekend. Outstanding show!

Saw lots of adverts for the show when I was holidaying in the Philippines which I thought was pretty interesting, way more than other American shows.

Finished watching on Netflix. Spader is really awesome, the rest varies from bad to horrendous. Definitely reminds me of early dexter, and Lizzie is Deb to a tee

Still really good overall though and hoping it doesn't follow the same arc as dexter

That was actually a pretty good premiere. They really used their popularity to soup up the cast. Krysten Ritter AND Mary Louise? Those names are way too big to only do couple of episodes. Not to mention the other handful of guest spots for lesser, but still known names. This is becoming some all-star ****!!

The only thing I really could've done without was the whole Dr. Woods shrink who just wants to help the sad cap thing. It's just going to lead to the things that this doesn't do well at all. The rest was damn solid.

Really missed the humor from season 1. The only "funny" scene was the opening one. I sincerely hope they didn't eff that part of the show up. That was one of the things that made it work so well.

Aside from some scenes with Spader, I doubt there will be actual humor. At least intended humor. But with them bringing in MLP and shipping the finger, I don't think he'll be cracking one-liners much.

That was the one thing I noticed as well. Serious, grim Spader is a step down from playful Spader. Still a really solid premiere, though.
