He's not actually. In the book he's dead and is only discussed by other characters. He may have appeared in some of the on screen adaptions, I'm not sure.

I've always considered this the GOAT underrated show. I'm 5 episodes in s1 on a re-watch.

Rare to say for any show, but each season is better than the one before.

The combination of characters from Treasure Island with actual historical figures is brilliant and John Silver's character arc is elite writing.
