Note: How they related to me, not how well they were done. 15 Million Merits was amazingly well done, but just not as relatable to me.

I think the best eps are the ones where technology mind****s both the characters and the viewers. That's why I love ep 2 and the Christmas one.

I didn't think he was a pedo until the mom called at the end talking all about how he was watching kids etc...

and there is just no way someone could be that embarrassed about jerking off to reg porn that they would rob a bank n fight to the death to stop ppl from seeing them do it.

the fact I thought he was just jerking off to reg porn the whole time made it a lot less enjoyable cuz whole time im just like wtf is wrong with you just tell them to go **** themselves who cares if ppl see u whacking off.

but regardless just didn't like the episode, wasn't particularly clever or anything and didn't seem like the usual black mirror ep where there is some aspect of advanced technology that is creating the plot device.

ppl can be blackmailed easily with today's technology etc there was zero twilight zone type feeling to the ep.

but whatever it's pretty much the only let down in an otherwise amazing series so I'll give it a pass.

The whole point was that this was one that could happen tomorrow, not in some theorized future, and you were obviously supposed to think it was normal stuff he looked it till the end reveal...

I thought it was very well done. Much better than the first episode, which is looking worse with each new one I watch, imo

ya but the thing is normally the viewer can get emotionally involved with the story and characters and understand why they're doing what they are etc in this one the entire time ur just like this is so dumb just tell them to go **** themselves.

and instead of getting into the story I just thought the main character was the stupidest most insecure person ever.

and it really wasn't much of a twist or revelation at the end.

and yes I understand that it wasn't about what could happen in the near future but rather what is "possible" today and that's my point, one of the best things about the show is how it's exploring a world so similar to our own just one leap forward technologically.

I feel like SJ is gonna be the far away favorite, and I'm not saying it was bad, it was just too damn optimistic. I'm not looking for that from this show. I also feel like if it was a man and woman, it would have been considerably less interesting. Looked great though. Acting was great.

Haunted House was the coolest part of the season for me. Thought the direction in this one was awesome, and Kurt Russell Jr. killed it acting wise, imo.

The bottom 2 both kinda suck tbh. I liked Nosedive after watching, but it got steadily worse in my mind as I contined. Hated BDH in it. MAF reminded me too much of the absolutely horrendous piece of crap "The 5th Wave"

thought the other 2 were solid. The kid in SUAD was great, hope the stigma doesn't stick, and he's stuck taking those type of roles, b/c he's gonna get em. Bronn was real good too.

gonna avoid reading this thread until I've watched all eps, but just came in to say that San Junipero is my favorite Black Mirror ep OAT
