Interesting reviews.

If anyone want more stories of advanced technology's effects on personal life and on human consciousness in the future , the closest show to Black Mirror might be Altered Carbon on Netflix. Lots of the same themes.

So I binged this entire series in a week and want more right now I can’t stand it. This is the best show on Netflix hands down. Will there be a season five?

Just started season 4 (not in order though, I just pick based on what looks most interesting)

Watched Arkangel and Hang the DJ. I liked both, but I actually liked Arkangel far more than most in this thread seem to. I thought it was very relatable and asked intreresting questions. Like putting a GPS in a child seems like a reasonable thing, we put chip trackers in our dogs for example. The parental controls are obviously sick and oppressive I think most would agree. The show seemed to present very realistic dilemnas and situations with very believable characters. I guess I also liked Nosedive though, and that is very unpopular in the rankings I'm seeing here.

I had read a lot about the series in the past and always thought it seemed like something I would enjoy. Twilight zone is probably my favorite show ever. Just recently watched the 4th season and enjoyed it but was relatively underwhelmed as I expected to love it. Did most people find this season disappointing when compared to the earlier seasons?

I started watching this show (had seen 4 episodes) and was almost ready to give up on it after Playtest (which I thought how the episode was done was just incredibly stupid).

However I watched San Junipero last night and I have to say that the episode is one of my favorite of any tv show OAT. I'm a big fan of Mackenzie Davis from Halt and Catch Fire. Mackenzie and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are phenomenal in the episode. Also Gugu looks breathtakingly beautiful as well imho.

If you're on the fence whether you want to continue watching Black Mirror or not just tune into San Junipero. Black Mirror

What was so stupid about Playtest? It's one of my all time favorites.

Absolutely agree and that is why I will never be able to give up on the show. They could put out 10 **** episodes and still have the potential for the next one to be San Junipero level goat.
Everything they showed him experiencing in the fake haunted house didn't even happen cuz he died as soon as his phone rang in the trial gaming process. So the episode didn't make any sense. It wasn't some cool twist at the end, it was just a twist that proved the episode didn't make any sense. That's my 2 cents.
It's ab "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" type of thing. All of the "test" happened in his head in the moment of his death.

Nosedive is pretty well liked. This is a ridiculously high quality show, so being the 13th/19 episodes is actually pretty awesome.

(especially when it's really 12th because USS Callister is a dog**** episode and I don't accept anybody having it above 17th)

Wait what

I don't understand this.

It's a dream within a dream within a dream that all happens in a couple of seconds before his phone rings.
