S6 E3B Beyond the Sea Personally found this to be an awful episode, maybe the worst in BM history for me. Unnecessarily gruesome, too long, full of plot holes ( do they ever talk to mission control? NASA would train astronauts to have similar skills not exclusive ones, somehow they have this super advanced replica tech but everything else is 1969 tech, where the heck are they going anyway and for how long? ) . The show's lighting was low and often annoyingly backlit for no reason. One character's ending action was out of character and dumb . Not the actors fault, btw. Wasted Aaron Paul. I see what idea they wanted to present, but this was not the way to do it, imo. Excuse my crankiness, there is someone else in my body. Grade D.

OH MY ****ING GOD

Episode 2, Loch Henry, maybe the darkest episode yet. Holy cow, that was horrifying. And the actress who plays Janet, Monica Dolan, was absolutely brilliant.

What an episode.

Pinkman was great in ep 3 but he was about it. I don't know what makes great sci fi great but it's surely not finding an extreme societal edge case and building an incredibly contrived and plot hole filled world around the idea.

so much promise with the premise of e3 left unfulfilled

S6 E4 Mazey Day Nothing much new to this monster story but it was done well enough. Nice special effects and twist. Grade B

S6 E5 Demon79 I couldn't make much sense out of this. It changes tone so much. It's almost even a love story. Grade C

S6 e1,e2 > e4> e3, e5 for me. Have fun.

Kind of the entire season in way aside from ep1.

For me, it seemed the premise of the 'horrors of future technology' wasn't as strong of a premise outside of episode 1. A bit in episode 3.

Episode 2 had nothing that I remember.

Episode 4 and 5 were all supernatural, not the technology aspect that has driven Black Mirror in the past.

Paul is the worst.
Scrawny aaron paul as an astronaut is pretty lol.

I loved when he squared up to the other dude. That dude would kick your ass, jesse.

A role that had a ton of juice and he just gives us nothing.

I dont even hate the episode but it was kind of interminable for a while and neither of those guys can really carry the screen.

I thought because Kate Mara is a big get that her character would take some sort of initiative

Astronauts are normally on the small side so that they can fit into the capsule.

Then they should both be small.

the Apollo 11 crew was between 5'10 and 5'11.
Hartnett is 6'3, which is the current NASA upper limit

Jim Wetherbee was 6'4

It’s the future. No limits

I find it interesting that Bandersnatch isnt even with the other episodes on Netflix. I totally forgot it when re-watching.
There is no way anyone could stumble upon that one

I think consensus is San Junipero

I've watched Metalhead more than any other episode but I think it ranks pretty low.

ratingraph suggest white christmas, then hang the dj followed closely in a tie between san junipero/black museum

Black museum was a banger. Junipero is good but feels a bit overrated at this point. Metalhead is def good, but not great imo.

I think San Junipero and White Christmas are the two eps people most often cite.

I hold a special place for S1, so mine might be the very first ep (National Anthem) and also really liked USS Callister.

Callister rules. I dont care for how Landry’s character ends up though.

Hated in the Nation underrated.
Be Right Back underrated.

fifteen million merits for me, really hits on the main black mirror theme which is to reflect the uglier sides of society and the capacity of capitalism for bribery and adaptation and ruthless efficiency
