I appreciate everyone posting their opinions/rankings for Black Mirror episodes in this thread. I have started watching this show with the GF and have bounced around for the most part (based on the rankings in this thread + what I've read online). Mainly doing this because this is not the usual genre of show that the GF likes. From what I've seen so far, I agree with most of this thread on the rankings of episodes. White xmas, San Junipero, and Hang the DJ have been my favorites thus far. Still need to keep watching, though.

Finally watched San Junipero. Meh. It's fine, but takes a looooooooong time to get going. Will be interesting to rewatch but not one of my favourite episodes.

I liked s6 ep1 Joan is Awful. . It touches on the loss of privacy we experience nowadays. Selma Hayek rocks: "Doesn't my ***hole have any rights?" I couldn't help but dig around and surprisingly found out that a Twilight Zone episode presented a crude version of this idea way back in 1989 ("Special Service") . Of course, nowadays it is more relevant than ever.

I hated Joan is Awful. Felt like it easily ranks as the worst Black Mirror episode I've seen from all of the seasons.

I really liked Loch Henry though. It was a great episode.

Loch Henry by far my favorite of the season so far. Still have not watched the last ep yet. Hoping for a strong finish because the paparazzi one might be my least favorite of all seasons.

s6 e2 loch henry. Streamberry streaming service encourages a film maker and his girlfriend, Pia, to investigate deeper into the sadistic serial murders that occurred years ago in his beautiful hometown in Scotland. Turns out not to be a good idea. Definitely needed closed captioning to understand the accents as a Yankee. Also, as a viewer I was a bit distracted searching for Pia's eyebrows. It was a decent watch though.

Not sure why the police didn't originally collect or maybe not analyze physical evidence, fingerprints, DNA, hair, etc from the crime scene on such a sensational case that could have led them to additional suspects. Watched too much CSI, I guess.

This was a long time ago, probably largely before forensic investigations had become standard, and in a remote location. On top of that, the main perp was a police officer himself, who could have known some forensics basics in order to cover their tracks as well as having had access to evidence.

Weird season. A little lacking in ambition, perhaps in combination with trying quite hard to do different stuff? Not sure how to categorise it, probably the weakest season for me, but will have to rewatch at some point. Very dark and murdery and retreading old themes without saying anything too groundbreaking or interesting; not only that, I lolled hard when it turned out they were recycling a South Park theme (terms & conditions).
