that's not how law works. the deal was finalized and agreed to. signing is just a formality. the DA would never act like that. nor would any other lawyer. such activity would put them up for administrative suspension from the bar.

i thought it seemed very clear the whole episode that the deal wont happen, mostly because the show would be over

Really enjoying it so far. Damian Lewis is too good. Hopefully those who don't like it stop posting so we don't have to hear how they don't like it every week but still continue to watch it

I found the last episode to be pretty much the same as all before. 6.75/10 show that I'm just watching for Giamatti at this point.

I would agree, but then we'd both be wrong.

Lewis isn't fit to tie Giamatti's shoelaces.

Couple of great songs used tonight, Replacements' The Ledge and Pixies' Debaser.

Just watched Giamatti in John Adams - brilliant. Learned a lot as well.

I'm not sure what new series is worse Billions or Vinyl

I turned off Vinyl about halfway through the pilot but made it through episode 4 or 5 of Billions. So Billions maybe? idk.

Last episode was horrible imo. What is he now, a super detective with epic memory skills?

He's had the amazing memory since the show started. Not the best episode, but pretty good. If you didn't like that you can safely quit the show IMO.

Yea it's entertaining, no complaints from me.

The cheese is strong though. "sit in this chair..." type stuff a bit cringe inducing

This episode tonight was really good. That last 10 seconds, I had to do a double take to realize what I had just watched.

I think all the characters are fleshed out really well, except Giamatti's wife/Axe's executive. I just don't see how that storyline would be based at all in reality. There would be so much conflict of interest personally and professionally that I feel like that scenario would never ever even happen in real life.

I've been waiting for the reveal as I suspected it all along. Trying to figure out what the end game is of it is though

Agree with that.
I'm really only watching it because Giamatti is boss and I'd watch him in anything. He really carries the show. All the other actors are fairly meh.

Killing me to ask, but can you remind me of what happened in the last 10 seconds? I'm at work and I can't rewatch. Put in spoilers, just in case.

Spoiler:
Damian Lewis pulls up beside the guy who's supposed to be the FBI informant and we realize that they're working together to make the FBI look incompetent.
