Yes. Them, They, Their is correct as was stated (and is quite carefully followed) on the show. It doesn't really matter what their name is, or what parts they have. The character explicitly stated that their preferred pronouns are they. It shouldn't be all that difficult to follow seeing as that is how Taylor is addressed on the show everytime they are brought up.

Also, Taylor is one of the more androgynous names out there. I have cousins of both genders with the name, and of the total Taylors I know, their gender lines fall about half and half.

Actually, I wasn't even sure, but "him" just doesn't feel right, which is why I never really completed that thought.

Decent ending to the series, but not great. So now they have both fallen from grace and the next season will be redemptive, clearly. I guess that's the direction it has to go but it seems like most of what happened during the year was contrived to get the two of them in the room together as in the final scene.

Pretty sure Teddy KGB didn't didn't address Taylor as such.

I mean, after setting up the series to include teddykgb, there was really no way they could screw up the finale.

the scenes with axe and ben kim, and then axe with mafee were great. taylor scene was great too. obv the scene in the flophouse with teddykgb was sick. backhand slap put that dude in his place.

still not buying that axe would ever consider murdering someone.

it was def telegraphed that chuck was gonna get doublecrossed and I agree it was not only predictable but also way out of character for chuck. like, he has been shown to be such a sick operator that he would never leave himself open to such a thing but here we are.

I guess it could be argued that he was in such a desperate situatino that he had to take the risk.

Very good finale, I like the storyline of Axe and Taylor being competitors. It did feel like I stepped into a different TV show with the extensive talk of Taylor being murdered though.

Do you give any notes to the Billions writers about Taylor?
I can think of two that come to mind. One is general and one is specific. The first is occasionally a script would come my way and Taylor’s pronoun would be wrong, they would have been misgendered. I would just send off a quick email to Brian and David saying, “Oop! I noticed this …” And they would change it right away and the script would come back and it would have be changed. The specific instance, there was a script that came my way in which the title for a person working at a job was gendered, but there’s no need to gender that type of word. And so I, as Asia, just went to the writer and said, “You know, Taylor would say the non-gendered version of this word.”

Yeah, this seemed to go from 0-100 real quick.

Also, a little confused as to why Taylor was so eager to accept Teddy KGB’s money when Bobby taking it led to one of their first big disagreements.

I think there was zero chance of that actually happening. No matter what Axe decided Teddy KGB would've said that was the reason he was going with Taylor. He then told Axe that if he ****s with his money (aka Taylor) he will **** with Axe.

Just caught up, best season by far imo. My favorite line of the season was when Axe's kid asked if Wags wanted to go to his baseball game. "Little League?" "Yeah." "Can't do it, I'm banned for life".

lol

love it that Wags, who has no children as far as we've seen, is somehow banned from attending little league games.

Loved hearing Black Sabbath's Never Say Die when Axe returned to work wearing a vintage Sabbath shirt. For like a minute, i'm thinking, "wait a minute...I know this song! What IS it?.... oh yeah!"

Phenomenal music choices. End of an episode I couldn’t place the music then remember it was one of AJ’s best lines - at least the gas was practically empty.

it really is. that soundopinions actually nailed a bunch of the songs that I heard on the show that I still listen to that I had no idea about. I am now a hudge andrew bird fan bc of that one episode. that mink deville song and the mot the hoople song were great too and I still listen to them. and I was one of the millions that listened to the "I was born in san antone" song in the hours after that episode where it only had like 1k streams and went to million overnight.

I relistened bc I missed the first part and it was played up how koppelman wrote Rounders. no effin wonder that he brings back malkovich as teddykgb. it all makes sense now.

the actual songs used are normally pretty good, but something about the way they are used at the end of the episode is almost always awful. it often feels incredibly jarring and like something a high school kid made for film class.

Pretty late reply by me, but I think the only times Taylor has been referred as she/her has happened 3 times. First when Taylor is recruited and Bill? uses 'her', then when the coder uses 'her' mistakenly, then Viktor using 'her' derogatory/because he doesn't believe in 3rd gender in the last episode.

3rd season was the best, I wish the show wasn't so circular though. I wouldn't mind having the cast change a bit over seasons.

You gotta pick sides,,,I think that is foreshadowing Bobby coming down so
hard that even Taylor will be forced to gender identify!!!

Finally started and then finished the first three seasons over the last few weeks. Most consistently fun viewing experience I've had in a long time. I was skimming this thread, and someone nicely stated what it feels like to watch this show, you know everything that happens is cheesy and unrealistic as hell, but you can't help but have a massive ****-eating grin on your face as you watch and enjoy the ride. Once I watched the final scene of S1, any uncertainty I had about the show was removed and I knew it would only get better, which it did. Really looking forward to S4 soon.
