Holy crap, Spiros shaking Bill's hand in the most fopish way possible was hillarious.

Also, probably the last thing I ever expected to see was Mike ****ing Burbiglia in a sex scene with a gender neutral person, following a fairly in depth scene about netrunner.

this was a fantastic episode. definitely the best of the season - really nice mix of drama and comedy.

What the heck was that? It's like they built up a season-long plot just to punt it in the finale.

Not sure if that's better or worse. When they build up a story over the course of multiple seasons then rush it to a hasty conclusion in a single mid-season episode, it seems like they realized they had nowhere interesting to go with it worthy of the buildup, so they dumped it and reset.

You kinda gotta assume this isn't the end of the Rhoades/Axe rivalry.

right. my understanding was that they called a truce bc they needed to work together to save themselves and once that was accomplished it was back to trying to destroy each other.

although, they may shift to primarily a connerty vs rhoades narrative.

If they go that direction it looks like we may get Axe/Taylor (and possibly Birbiglia?) As well

they came together to save Wendy. they would’ve both went down and taken each other with if she wasn’t in trouble

I agree, and considering Taylor feels Axe and team broke a good man, I can see it heading in that direction.

The sheer contrast between Wendy and Axe's ex (the character is so bad I honestly can't remember her name) is striking. I have no idea why the writers hate the ex's character so much but it's clear they do.

Also, the seeds of Axe v. Taylor have been planted and I can't wait to see how it plays out.

My guess is that given the feud between her and Axe at the moment, they want us to side with Axe. He needs to be the anti-hero. Early in the piece they painted her as the cool, supportive wife, so she was reasonably likeable - but they needed to change that so the audience doesn't turn against Axe. Mind you, seeing how crushed the ginger kid was after he bailed on dinner made me hate him a bit.

Probably why Skylar was such a **** in BB as well. Very easy to hate Walt if the surrounding characters weren't written as well as they were.

As a side-note, Wendy is probably the sexiest woman on TV atm. Love this show!

Lordy, the metaphorical conversations on this show are so tiresome. I find myself yelling "get to the ****ing point!" then zoning out. No-one in real life would put up with someone droning on about random bits of sport or pop culture when they're talking about something completely different.
