I have to say Billions is getting better - solid B show now.

Yup, I was midly annoyed they didn't fall in the standard "ohh look viewers, this proposal was so bad for them they had to wait the fifth second to agree!!!".

Also I had to playback a few scenes with the weird flashbacks and non linear timeline in this episode to understand what was going on. I usually half ass it. Showtime surprised me this week.

Does Axe make Wendy choose between the Firm and Chuck in the last episode? Or does she get played?

I didn't find Axe's deep exploration into his psyche quite as fascinating as Axe and Wendy seemed to find it. Same for Mrs. Axe and her sister having a night out. That was pretty much the whole episode.

Let's get to the part where Axe finds out about Chuck's kinky sex life already.

I couldn't make it the last 10 minutes. Did anything happen? All those dialogues were boring.

Filler episode - boring and predictable. Should have ended the season after 10

Thought this season had been on a pretty good run but yeah, this last episode was lame. Preparing myself for a lack of resolution this season.

Yup, what a tease. It was getting pretty epic.

Just when we could suspend our disbelief of the whole DA/wife working for Axe, they had to jump the shark and leave her laptop notes open for Giamatti. Come the **** on.

I would have been happier if they reversed it, and her as the spy on her husband's notes, because at least we know she morally wouldn't act on it. But the writer's needed to shoehorn in an edge for the DA character. Just lazy writing.

As an aside I'm glad Axe didn't kill off Dan Soder. He was trying to be a good dude and always a loyal player for the company. I thought Donnie, a couple episodes back, was trying implicate Soder in that inside trade to take the fall when he told him to buy the rest of that stock. What happened with that line of the story? Maybe because the trade was directed by Donnie, Soder couldn't be held responsible if it was fraudulent and made profit, so I guess Donnie was helping him just make money and knew he couldn't be arrested because Donnie was the source.

guess I'm in the minority, but i actually like these types of episodes. maybe not this close to a finale but w/e

ofc it was ridiculous for her to leave Axe notes on her screen. but i suppose her husband was gone and she assumed she could take a shower and he wouldn't be home + checking her computer in such a narrow time span. i guess something just had to happen eventually and it was obv as soon as they showed her typing up the notes. you would def expect her to be more careful though

Just caught up on the show. Episode 10 was by far the best of the season, it was a really great episode of television. I didn't care much for episode 11.

Can someone tell me what the point was of making her password visible, something no computer ever has done? This really annoyed me.

this show is great and sucks at the same time. Cant really explain that really maybe its because i like the hedge fund angle and Lewis/Costabile, but seriously dislike the US Attorneys office angle. This hedge fund stuff has great potential, but writing is mediocre and all the other stereotypical family/law stuff drag this show down.

That was good TV. I dont think i have ever seen such a gap in quality from one episode to the next before.

I got bored after the Metallica episode and stopped watching. Worth to see the whole thing or not? Fwiw I am quite interested in the financial world.

The show has two strong actors as leads, so put those two in a room and you're going to have an electric scene. They keep me watching despite the show's writing issues.
